Local style construction in the mining camp. Fairly basic inside, a bed, and small bathroom. If you want reliable hot water you go to the communal showers. Glad my nipple makes sense.

Not only financially but mentally you have to be ready. Speaking from experience, it took me 4-6 months to completely get into the retirement mode. I wouldn’t say I wasn’t prepared, but it took longer than I thought.
