I think you might have been in an RDS sabbatical when it all went down, so let me bring you up to speed;

Oddly, they left "their" thread in a pout because the "host" of the thread was some guy they did not care for. Seemingly unrelated, they called that poster "Lance." That version of the bogeyman lance was subsequently banned, so had they come back to "their" thread, they could do so while safely hiding from all of the various "lance" boogeymen. The thread starter would no longer be able to frighten and/or annoy them.

I am not sure why they label the boogeymen of their discomfiture "lamce" but I sense some phallic overtones.
