the cows are busy working on their pasture maintenance

added a little cardamom to the peach jam, and it works well

pup's definitely not one for the heat - hasn't the brains he was born with, mind: his mother gets into the deep shade and spends most the day dozing, busy guarding all night. he's awake on and off during the night but when it gets really hot and humid he just wanders around, panting and getting exhausted. i made him stay indoors with the cooler air for some hours, clipped his fur back even more today and gave him a bath to cool him down.
