Other than cashing paychecks and initial training in your trade, what have you studied that makes you knowledgeable about the past, present challenges, and future prospects of unions?

I don't remember any such classes when I worked for a union shop. Do they start filling you with the knowledge after you learn the secret handshake?

Maybe we were just working too hard to stay ahead of the concrete guys to get all that knowledge that you have. Must be nice to have one of those government contracts where you sit around and collect a check for doing nothing. I heard tales from Union Brothers about how cushy it was working on the Palo Verde Nuclear Plant you could take a nap all day and get paid for it.
