Trump is finally...

Nowhere in that oath does it say anything about political party: Democrat or Republican.

Never said it did.

Hmm....a disproportionate amount of RWCJers here appear to have been low-achievement low-ASVAB numpties. That might explain a few things.
*nods*

Tell this BS to the families that lost lives in the Twin Towers.

But, if it were up to you, we’d sit on our thumbs and do nothing.

Then, by all means, if you feel a need to blame someone, blame Obama. He’s the one that ordered the strike on Osama’s compound.

Lol. Seriously? That's not even close.:rolleyes:

Blame Obama because he ordered the strike on Osama, who masterminded the 9-11 horror???

We bombed the wrong country, btw..

Let me help you lessen your ignorance, Kantthinkii....I'll even use an "approved news source" (Fox Business) .

Closing the Strait of Hormuz.....even temporarily...will disrupt global oil shipments, which translates to an immediate 30% rise in the cost of gasoline. Arbitrarily add a dollar a gallon to gas and guess what happens to the economies of nations? They go down. Consumer outlays are higher, people buy less, because they're spending more on gas. Business profits are squeezed. A downward spiral starts.

And...this affects third-world shitholes like Iran far less than others, it won't affect their energy cost (domestic production, y'know) but it will put a crimp in the perfumed princes of Saudi Arabia, who might insist that Trump put Murican troops in harm's way to protect their way of life.

But hai, feel free to keep your head in the sand and tell yourself "It can't happen HERE!"

But hai? Don't you mean 'But hey' I don't think anyone said that closing the strait wouldn't have an impact. Don't you think that because Iran's economy relies heavily on it's oil exports that it could possibly affect them more. Just my humble opinion.

Except Trump's sanctions on gas are designed to get Iranian gas imports to zero, therefore, closing the strait would affect everyone else and NOT Iran.

Read the article, que-ball. Iran doesn't give two shits how much it suffers as long as Saudi Arabia suffers moar. Saudi gives up oil revenue and the Saudi fortune is denominated mostly in dollars so an economic downturn in the US pays double dividends for Iran.

Also, you may not have noticed that Iran exports relatively little oil in the first place on the world market (400 thousand barrels per day compared to Saudi's 9 million per day), they've focused for the past ten years on exporting natural gas.

“I hate” is the two most powerful words ever combined. Hate will move every mountain love can’t. I try to use the phrase sparingly. But, I’ll be damned if I’m gonna let someone talk shit when I stood up and swore an oath to protect this country and go after the ones responsible for the terror attack that took thousands of lives. But, you know, by the same token, in a way, I was defending their right to sit on the couch, bitch about it yet do nothing, right?

"Hate" is a conservative core value.
....but you knew that, you voted for Trump.

Holy crap... this moron is another big giant head alt?

Makes perfect sense, since they make no sense.

Is he the panty wearing idiot too??

They become upset when normal people point out the reason they voted for the numbskull is due to shared hatred, not because the idiot is handsome, charming, or even particularly bright.

Hate is what keeps them united and in support of him.

All sort of surprises on here, huh?

Except Trump's sanctions on gas are designed to get Iranian gas imports to zero, therefore, closing the strait would affect everyone else and NOT Iran.

Iran's oil exports are only about 5% of the OPEC countries, but Iran depends on 57% of it's trade in oil exports.

I'd guess that it will affect Iran greatly.

Trump's sanctions make that a moot point.

If they can't export oil and gas because of sanctions, they have stated they will simply blockade the Strait.

And the koolaid drinkers will rejoice at the show of POWER! Who gives a fuck if it's a horrible idea, huh?

Btw.. how many shares of Uber did you purchase? You seemed to have missed me asking before.

92G. How do you think he got the continual weight wavers? A "jolly" cook is presumed to be a better cook.

No, they voted for Brokahontas because he's such a good businessman. ;)

And they knew all along he wasn't. They just enjoy being bamboozled and to be made fools. They wanted to squeal like pigs when the inevitable reveal came out. :D

Fatass from norco was 30 pounds overweight WHILE in the military.. and no one noticed.

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

How many pounds would you have had to gain in order to make the minimum? 75? 100?

Funny you should ask. The Navy offered me a weight waver due to the MOS I was recruited for. As a distance runner, I was far too fit and lean to make weight.

How fat were you allowed to be for your BritCom watching MOS?

"
In one possible scenario for an area-denial strategy, Iran might be able to prevent the US Navy from operating in the Persian Gulf by mining the Strait of Hormuz and then guarding it with antiship cruise missiles and small submarines to thwart mine-clearing operations.

The US intelligence community judges that Iran can briefly close the Strait of Hormuz, relying on a layered strategy using predominately naval, air, and some ground forces. During 2004 Iran purchased North Korean torpedo and missile-armed fast attack craft and midget submarines, making marginal improvements to this capability. Tehran's ability to interdict the Strait of Hormuz with air, surface and sub-surface naval units, as well as mines and missiles remains a concern. Additionally, Iran's asymmetrical capabilities are becoming more robust. These capabilities include high-speed attack patrol ships, anti-ship missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles, and hardened facilities for surface-to-surface missiles and command and control."

The Navy would love the practice.

Remember when Colonel Gaddafi wanted to show off his fancy Russian MIGs? Splashed two with our eyes closed.
