Iran has allies. China and Russia come to mind.

Allies? China’s is only concerned about China, hasn’t fought a full on war in decades and has a no first strike policy on launching nukes. Considering better than 70% of their population is on their Eastern coast bunched up in cities, nuclear war doesn’t favor them.

Russia, on the other hand, has the number of nukes to go toe to toe with America. Mutually assured destruction keeps them in check. Without nukes, it’s game over for Russia.

If it came down to America fighting Russia and China alone without nukes, the US Army and Air Force alone could handle Russia’s ground forces as their Navy isn’t a threat like China. The US Navy and Marines would blockade China. Depending on how long it would to subdue Russia would determine assistance from the Air Force.

I’m going to wager America could take both Russia and China on at the same time without nukes and win, but it wouldn’t be a quick war.
