they did suggest a waterproof mattress cover at the time but i thought that'd make it feel really sweaty
that old mattress was new when they built the damned ark, all springs and soooo uncomfortable. this one is like sleeping on a cloud.

If it's the same sort of mattress cover they gave me when I got my new mattress, I can tell you I don't notice it at all. Not sure if it's waterproof or water resistant, but it hasn't made me feel sweaty at all. If it's not too expensive, it might be worth giving a try.

...besides, I don't mind sticky.
