Done and done. Bad weather's inbound here as well but no weather alerts as of yet.

Tornado's aren't any fun at all, the river mud smell and freight train sound will make the hair on the back of your neck stand up. :eek:

I hope you're not cowering in a hurricane shelter right now. Although if you are, you're probably interviewing everyone for the Audio Philes about how natural storms bring out their inner fetishes. :D

Haha, I'll remember that for hurricane season!!

It was a rough night. We lost power for about 15 hrs and a bunch of branches and flower pots but we all made it safe. Been a weird day but thanks for checking on me. :heart:

Ouch!!! Not good. We just had stormy weather and a lot of rain which is still pouring down.

My last house lost power every time there was any kind of storm, sometimes for days. So I bought a generator. Keeping the fridge a few lights and a fan going is perfect. Plus you can recharge batteries.

And I'm glad to hear that your alright. :)
 
Oh man! Glad both of y'all are safe! I used to live near Houston, so I understand how hurricane season can be.

Funny, I was just joking with someone about how having to deal with hurricane season helped prepare me for some aspects of life here. They're working on the water pressure for our apartment today and we will be without running water for 24hrs while they fix it. I was the only foreigner who didn't think it was a big deal, especially since they told us in advance, haha.
 
Glad you are safe PLP, ugh, that sucks about the power. Hopefully you had lots of good paperback trashy romances to read by candle light!
