I actually have no idea what a beano is (unless you are referring to the comic...) but me flashing my bits to strangers in my thread is somewhat removed from real life AP who flashes no one anywhere (and actually has no desire to...)

Beano is a group of friends or workmates, hire a bus and go to the seaside for the day, used to be allowed beer on the bus so start drinking early hours, even getting to the market pubs before the bus and drinking starting 6 in the morning!

Get to seaside find pub carry on drinking, followed by walk round town then back to pub for more drinks. If you were lucky would meet a group of women also on their beano and arrange to meet later in the day. Very messy day that took lots of stamina to survive.

I guess modern day equivalent would be the days out to ascot or the Derby by groups.


If you promise not to throw things at the people in front of you, then you can have the back seat, somehow I think you girls could have any seat you wanted.

If I remember correctly the Beano came out on Thursday, what a great read that was, not sure I've ever moved on from it.

the bash street kids on a routemaster booze cruise. Fine for the big girls to join us on the top deck, particularly the minx, but only if she sits on my lap. If we're going up the M1 to Alt.ontowers can the driver stop at watford gap services as my bladder isn't what it used to be.
