Using whichever rating system you like (1-10, letter grade etc etc) rate the most recent films you've watched (or rewatched.) If you want, you may also summarize what you liked/ didn't like about said flicked and if you'd recommend it or not. :)

Steel Dawn 👍

9/10
Patrick Swayze in one of my favourite post apocalyptic movies. Ok so it as a movie has aged dreadful with big hair, loud and retro costume choices. But the revenge/action/love story blend is done with the Swayze style and saves the day

Captain Marvel

12/10!!!!
Not sure if anyone follows the movies and hasn't seen it yet, so no spoilers from me

Third Frontier on Netflix

Definitely worth watching. Bunch of military buds go after a big score from a drug kingpin. 8/10

Shit - I had to really think when the last time was I sat down and watched a movie.

Bohemian Rhapsody. I didn't cry. So not as amazing as everyone says but not as bad as some critics ripped it to be. C+?

HA. Swayze's hair deserves a 9/10 just by itself.
The Quiet Man.
10/10 Four leaf clovers. 🍀

Love the Clover ratings!!

I had a similar reaction to this film when I saw it recently. In addition I found that it took some mad liberties with historical timelines and accuracy (as many biopics do) but still it was somewhat ridiculous here. Also (strangely) it not nearly as LBGT - positive as you'd think it would be. That said, I think that I enjoyed the film a little more than you did- Januari. Bohemian Rhapsody: B-

Aquaman 7.5/10

Looked great visually. Jason Momoa's humour throughout was a treat.

A good group of actors, but the dialogue seemed stilted throughout the movie.

Five Feet Apart

This is a five tissue flick—- two terminally ill teens who can’t be together because it will actually make it worse. (They have cystic fibrosis and he’s got an extra infection that took him off the transplant list and she’s waiting for new lungs...) I cried through the whole movie and the teenage girl child cried for the last half (my crying was because I couldn’t help think how lucky I am to have healthy kids).

Omg! I watched the trailer and cried. I can't believe you made it through the film.

Ant man & the Wasp. Meh, 3.5/5. Good thing for Paul Rudd

Lol...that's exactly why my wife knows not to ask me to watch it. :)

We saw the new Marvel Movie.. the first half was good, I can't tell you if the second half was, the recliner got the best of me at the movies. :D

Those fancy theatre recliners, yeah a good/bad thing. Haha. I love that it's a nice seat and not you can relax more...but it often puts me in nappy like zone! Just thought of a solution through...fee before movie!!!

"Bird Box"

If I'd seen it before I saw "A Quiet Place" I'd probably have given it 7, maybe 8 Maltesers.

I saw it after, though. Not as well structured as "A Quiet Place", didn't end as well, a final score of 6 Maltesers to "Bird Box".

The Quiet Man with John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara. They play classic movies occasionally at the local cinema. The acting, especially by the character actors, was perfect. More of a character driven plot, which worked well for the characters they had. Won an academy award for best director as well.

9 of 10.

An American Werewolf in Paris: A standard Grade B horror flick - 6 of 10.

It looks so good! I want to see it, but I'll have to go alone.

SERENDIPITY. 9/10
Great movie, but dated. Some of the time line is messy and it is a bit cliche. Great acting overall and just a fun romantic comedy. John Cusack and Kate Beckinsdale shine.
