Color is not the "end all", of course.
I do have a few...

Also for a "word challenge" for "Fine Wine"

Funny, I don't really enjoy wine, but if served properly, I might go for a few laps.

pffft! can just skip the wine altogether.:)

well, very nice.

but oh the alcohol abuse, just so much wine not being drank. ;) No need to skip the wine though, I will drink it...from a glass, or hell, screw it, just give me the bottle

Oh, I'll "give you the bottle" all right.
kidding.

Once again, I am reminded of the beer and couch scene in "American Beauty".
Of course that was not about wasting beer (or wine), rather about damaging an expensive couch. :(

meh, wine has no appeal to me.

lol. And yet another reason to not have expensive furniture. If one is nervous about beer near it, they certainly aren't going to go for being bent over it and well screwed? and what is the fun of furniture if you aren't screwing on it ever.

and not a wine fan. so dry type or just not a wine fan? and why incorporate something are not really a fan of? wouldn't it have had the same meaning using something you enjoy?

The function of furniture!:D

I don't really like any alcohol, never have.
I'll drink a glass of wine as a guest at dinners, or toast with a glass of champagne.

It was for a "Word Challenge" —*years back, in the Visual Artists' Corner we had a bit more participation and engagement. One thing we did was have "word challenges", a friendly contest — a word (or phrase, like "Fine Wine" ) was given, and folk had a week to illustrated that and submit, then there was a week of voting, the winner picked the next word and "hosted".
Words were: "Fan", "Window", "wet", "Shadow", "pink", "night", "leaf", "Fine Wine", "evil", "bottom" and "space"

I did not submit a "pink", "bottom" or "Window"... maybe I hosted those...? I forget now. I can probably find the threads, though most images are probably gone from there (I have mine, and some of the other submissions, but wouldn't share thos eby other folk, unless I got permission). I love bottoms (at least 2 meanings), I can think of some "pinks", and I have done a series of "windows"

then it faded away, folk got too busy, left LIT, or lost interest.

Well that sounds like it would have been fun.

Digging back into my digital files there were some other word challenges:
"Pen"
"Cup"
"Key"
"Blanket"
"Package"
"hose"
"hand"

Fun to look back on those!:)

oh, so many ways one could go with those words

Exactly! That was a big part of the fun — seeing a variety of solutions (concepts and techniques):D

It was often difficult to decide and occasionally people made multiple submissions.
Of course, even if the solution was directed, there would just as many results, due to style/technique.

I can post some of my interpretations. I might even check to see if any others are still up.

My "Wet" entry (heeheee...a "wet entry"... I am SOOOO juvenile!)
A pretty obvious solution.

Looks like all the "contests" are pretty much empty now, some of the comments remain.
I've got mine. I might give another go on some of those.

I think I might (for my own amusement) try (at a later time) something like Stand-up improv and ask for the audience to shout out a word, and within a certain amount of time (10 minutes?) draw something erotic (my interpretation, of course of "erotic")

Of course, would need an audience... a vocal audience. There's been some interaction recently, thanks.

Is anyone at all interested?

This thread is gonna "die" (put into stasis) soonish as it is inching towards 5,000 replies (4,821 currently — mostly me!! :) ), so I'd probably start a new thread for an "improv thread"

I like it (possible you might not be alone in juvenile lol)

I will happily shout out random words. I kind of do that anyway.

The word was "Fan" (I included 4)
(this one I had also posted "up front" when manu was getting that area started...and it's still in "beta" It's still there.)
