Schakowsky (D) defends Omar’s anti-Semitic comments: ‘She comes from a different culture’

Her comments and hate of Jews are no different than Louis Farrakhan, David Duke or the current leader of Malaysia.

Jews are the most discriminated group in the world and have been throughout global history.

You have claimed that her criticism of Israel does not make her anti-Semitic, I would argue that her’s, Rashida Tlaib’s and Jeremy Corbyn’s are.

1. They only target or spend an inordinate time on Israel, the only Jewish majority nation in the world. While ignoring the Turkish oppression of the Kurds, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and China’s occupation of Tibet.
2. They never come out against Palestinian or Lebanese terrorism against Jews.
3. They promote the false claims of the Palestinian terrorists that Israel is an apartheid state, they target civilians and occupy territories. Israel no more occupies these lands than we do the American southwest.

Not only is she an Anti-Semite but an active supporter of the terrorist created BDS, which is this era’s Kristalanchallent.

She has no business being on a foreign relations committee when she supports an enemy of the United States against a close ally.

You should be listening to the wisdom of one of the most respected and bipartisan senators of the last century on this matter: Joe Liberman

Please do not deflect as your colleagues have by bringing up President Trump or Steven King, the latter lost his committee assignments and was criticized by his Republican colleagues something your party refuses to do with Omar and Tlaib.

Ditto.

Also. Someone said that in this contemporary age, what sets anti-semitism apart and makes it more dangerous
is that in all other bigotries people "hate down"
whereas anti-semites "hate up".
Starting with blaming them for Christ's death, then for the Wall Street cronies and Israel's leaders.

From the News today:

"I don't think our colleague is anti-Semitic, I think she has a different experience in the use of words, doesn't understand that some of them are fraught with meaning that she didn't realize," Pelosi said.

Sounds like a weak excuse to me.

google "Jews 109"
You'll find a list of all the places they have been kicked out of over the past 2000 years.

Starting with Egypt?

I've seen other numbers up to approximately 450 places that the Jews have been kicked out of, and they date back even further, hundreds of years BC.

But the 109 list has been spread far and wide. It's a good starting point.

Uh huh. How about all the Catholics being rounded up and shipped back to Central America?

The evolution on this one is pure Alice in Wonderland. It went from condemnation by her own party to blaming everyone else for not understanding her culture, attacking her religion, misinterpreting her remarks and mainstreaming her while marginalizing any outrage.

The funny thing is, that this is the party recently attacking Catholics (court appointments, membership in the Knights of Columbus) because their religion might affect their judgement. But, since Islam is a protected "minority" religion, we cannot question if religion is driving her remarks; no, we need sensitivity training to understand and accept her "culture."

She is not the bad person here, we are. We are afraid of her religion, her color, her (possible dual loyalties to) culture, her sex, her enlightened views on Jews..

I wonder if this is how it went down in Germany.

What I learned yesterday morning is that there are a myriad of excuses trying to be employed to find which one has some sort of plausible rationality and if you don't accept the evolving party standard, then you are probably an uneducated and fearful Trump supporter...

:(

Well, that changes everything!

Small wonder they want to do a little racial purity/ethnic cleansing against Palestinians 'n Sephardic Jews by Bibi's AshkeNAZI hardliners.

Two wrongs make a right, amiright? PatriotMath and all that.

Hates Jews.

*chuckle*

Proof positive that Jews and their supporters are the real problem here; they are behaving like Nazis...

That's exactly what the Israeli state have been doing for decades. And plenty of Jews say the same thing.

The some Jews argument.
It's akin to the some of my best friends are...

Well, in Germany, some Jews continued to work with the government because they never figured that modern, enlightened and educated nation would ever bring actual harm to them despite the rhetoric.

Some Jews of the Diaspora probably do blame Israel for all of the problems Jews face the world over, but this is because they have decided that their adopted homeland is a modern, enlightened and educated nation that would never bring actual harm to them despite the rhetoric.

We know for a fact that the Palestinians have never been a modern, enlightened and educated nation that would never bring actual harm to the Jews despite the rhetoric anymore than our now beloved Somali Muslim immigrant who employs that Palestinian rhetoric, rhetoric which promises a second Holocaust (because "some" of them are of the fervent belief that it is a made-up Zionist myth) would. The self-designated Palestinians are, were and will continue to be very open about their planned and longed-for genocide of the Jews.

I think Sean is just pretending to be a man.

So they get a free pass to act like Nazis?

Absolutely not.
Jews have been kicked out (notice I'm not using the word persecuted) of countries for centuries. It's their Modus Operandi. At what point are the Jews going to turn the eye inward? Those 109 places are all very diverse. So is it all these other cultures who are the problem, or is it the Jews?

The Jews were kicked out of all these places because they subverted the host culture with degenerate behavior, and seized control of the hosts' economic system.

It always cracks me up watching sons of Europe condemn the Jewish state for just existing...

Now? They want them?
