Is there a good place to store pictures for hot linking ?

I use imgur and it's been pretty good. They automatically adjust the code for a variety of sizes, which is useful for Lit because I can't figure out how to adjust the size in the post.

It does but it's huge. It stretches the screen and will look even worse on mobile. But that's not your fault. It's the way the site is coded not to autoresize to fit the screen. Idk why it's like that.

dunno but if I use igur for Lit, I can resize there to fit the screen

That's what I do.

Also, I don't know why this thread hasn't had more traction. You have a very good question. I've also had trouble getting images on Lit.

I was also gonna suggest tumblr, because I used to use them, but then I remembered the purge. You can't post nsfw stuff there anymore.

Imgur is really good because of the resizing thing, though, so that's really my only suggestion.

if the pics are mine, i edit for size and upload to lit directly

i can then go and delete whatever attachments i would like to, since they have a handy link that takes you to them all

hotlinking to a private acct just lets people know what your acct is

if i hotlink, its from a website that allows it

I've always had a really hard time getting pics small enough to upload to lit and having any kind of image quality. It got so frustrating I kind of gave up.

How do you get to the place that shows you what you already uploaded? I didn't know you could do that and it sounds super handy.

Tumblr

In spite of Tumblr shutting down access to what they deem inappropriate images...

I have a personal Tumblr page that I use strictly to store images in the manner asked about. Images they do not like wind up with a red banner that says 'It looks like your post might be in violation of our Community Guidelines and is now hidden.' But they do not hide it from me.

They do send me periodic emails saying that they have 'detected inappropriate images' on my page, but at least they do not remove them. At least not yet. This works for gifs as well.

Oh, and they won't allow me to have an archive page. And I suspect that anyone searching for my page will get that 'This Tumblr may contain sensitive media.' blank page.

From my page I can do a right click 'Copy image address' for a specific image and post into Literotica forum threads. So it works for now.

Btw, I work strictly with a Windows desktop and keyboard; do not know how this would work on a phone or tablet.

use the html code at the ends of your weblink. bracket symbol, img, bracket symbol no spaces (had to space so it shows up) [ img ]

then weblink and bracket symbol, slash, img, bracket symbol [ /img ]
