Every Wednesday morning the local new mothers take their babies for a walk past our house. It is part of their recovery after childbirth exercise but the numbers are affected by the weather.

This month we have had more new mothers walking past our house than I have ever seen in February. It's not that there are more new mothers. It's because the seaside weather has been so mild and sunny.

The last three days have been like summer. So nice to get some rays on my skin in February.
