Republicans toiling to re-elect President Trump are freshly optimistic, confident a Democratic Party dominated by ambitious progressives is scaring wayward factions of the conservative coalition back into the fold.

"As the House Democrat caucus is increasingly dominated by extreme left members, and as Democratic presidential candidates work to outmaneuver each other in embracing socialist policies, the choice will become increasingly clear,” Trump campaign spokeswoman Kayleigh McEnany said in a statement provided to the Washington Examiner. “Support for the president is already on the rise."

It's not going well for the Democrats. They clearly haven't learned from 2016. Now they have to admit that TDS is a thing. They're eating their own. Not good. And round one of candidates is a total clusterfuck. The Democrats need to get their act together. I doubt it's going to happen.

I prey they run the most loony-toonz "woke" socialist ticket they can muster and run on the most fuming mad at white people campaign EVER.

:D

And Shultz is waiting on the sidelines to run as an independent.

If he does, and the D's continue to field unelectable fruitcakes, the Independent party will gain a lot of strength at the expense of the D's. It might be enough to make them a major player in the future.

It's happened before with the Tories and Whigs. Are we seeing the beginnings of it happening again?
