Only people with zero knowledge of electronics manufacturing - a.k.a. deplorables - would think that U.S. manufacturing could compete on a price point vs. the rest of the world in LCDs. So, they shouldn't be upset - anyone with a brain saw this coming. ;)

Foxconn Is 'Not Building a Factory' in Wisconsin Despite Billions in Taxpayer Subsidies

Former Republican Gov. Scott Walker promised that "working families would reap the benefits" of the giveaway, and President Donald Trump flew to Wisconsin last June to participate in a ceremonial groundbreaking for the plant. The project was an example of "reclaiming our country's proud manufacturing legacy," Trump said.

Now? There may not be a Foxconn factory built in Wisconsin at all.

The rabid creature thinks he is being That Bad Ass by trying to troll Rory's threads, in reality he looks stupid and envious. He knows Rory is way above him in intellect and he is jealous.

Why don't I quote the troll? Easy, because I don't believe in quoting subhuman vermin. ;)

The little racist shitstain is going nuclear today. I think the Jussie Smollet incident probably triggered him, but then again, this is another day ending in "y."

all I know is that if there's an aneurysm involved, it better pay out in full instead of continuously teasing us like this!

Certain topics (and posters) trigger him as he is extremely predictable.

Who knows? He either forgot his Clozapine pill or some nursing aide "forgot" to change his diaper.

The jobs created are likely to be "knowledge" positions—in other words, not blue collar jobs—Woo tells Reuters. That's something Foxconn had already acknowledged was likely in November when The Wall Street Journal reported that the company was planning to import workers from Taiwan and China to meet its hiring goals in Wisconsin.

Foxconn is already lagging well behind its job-creation promises. While the company originally promised to create 5,200 jobs by the end of 2020, Foxconn said earlier this month that the actual number would be about 1,000.

Well....still a 1,000 white collar jobs. Not bad.

why is this HIS failure?

as opposed to FOXCONN reconsidering?

are you blaming NIGGER for all his SOLYNDRA failures?

There is another side to this story, behind this story. The story of the village of Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, that was sold a bill of goods by Scott Walker and the Orange Don.

The village is over 150 million our of pocket on this, and evicted residents and demolished homes in anticipation of the great factory promised by Trump. There is also state money spent, along with tax and subsidy incentives into the billions, all spearheaded by Walker and Trump.

Even if (and that is a big if, if you look at Foxconn’s international record and reputation), the 1000 jobs go ahead, there will not be a mega-factory as promised, the workers likely won’t be from Mount Pleasant, but Foxconn will still get 4 Billion big ones as promised in the fine print, further demonstrating the ridiculousness of a deal that couldn’t be rationalized before today’s announcement. Those 1000 jobs will cost the state roughly $4,000,000, each.

This isn’t just Trump getting caught in another lie, like when he announced 6 or 7 American Steel plants were opening last summer (exactly 0 new plants have opened, to date). This is yet another Trump boondoggle that will take Mount Pleasant and Wisconsin decades to recover from, and they likely will never recoup their investment.

The art of the deal...

He takes full credit and responsibility for it.

Scroll past Donnie patting himself and Scott Walker on the back, to around 4 minutes and 25 seconds, here.
:D

The only thing more pathetic than a Trump supporter is one who denies it.

And the only thing more pathetic than that is a TDS sufferer who erroneously presumes everyone not suffering from TDS is a Trump supporter.

he said 'the only thing more pathetic'. that means there can't be anything "more" pathetic. ;)

*shrug* He's wrong.

And so was I apparently....the white knight defending the TDS sufferer who erroneously presumes everyone not suffering from TDS is a Trump supporter, is more pathetic than the presumptuous TDS sufferer.
