Ignore them. Once you reply...they have won. This is all about ego...They need the air of knowing they have your attention. this is the same someone posting...and playing the Woe is me game, or flooding a thread with their pix...but not starting their own thread... EGO

They will go as low as they can...find your one nerve until you post a wordy, waxing poetic reply...then they have you...you've filled them up

Just ignore them...don't feed their ego

A little clarification as to why this advice is important:

This has been said many times on several different threads, because there are definitely people out there - both here on the boards, as well as out on the main story site - who have made it their mission in life to be assholes.

I understand the difficulty in ignoring these people, because by attacking something you happen to be interested in, they're indirectly saying there's something wrong with you, because you find this topic to be of interest.

There are people out there who thrive on controversy, and if they can't find any, they'll create it. Unfortunately, some of those people, we can't do anything about. On here, the best way to deal with it is to take Klip's advice and pretend nothing was said. These people are like little dogs barking at a big dog. They come in, bark like their opinion matters, then trot off with a self-righteous grin on their faces, and very often never come back, especially if they couldn't get a rise out of anybody.
