Just wondering if there has ever been a transgender in a mainstream Hollywood movie.

Hari nef of the movie Assassination Nation (not the tv one) also I heard one of the original Bond girls was trans.

It wasn't mainstream, but there was a really good Australian film a while back about a trans woman. Unfortunately blanking on the name right now, maybe someone else will remember it.

(edit)
Found it: The Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert (1994) 25 years old, now. Hard to believe it!

There is a transgender character, played by Jamie Clayton, on the Netflix show Sens8.

I guess the show creators, the Wachowski "Brothers" are both transgender women now.

Heard that too but never found out for sure.

"Caroline Cossey (born 31 August 1954) is an English model. She has appeared in the James Bond film For Your Eyes Only, and in 1991 was the first trans woman to pose for Playboy."

Also known as high fashion model 'Tula'.

Not Hollywood, but Australia. Priscilla, Queen Of The Desert was a big hit in the early 90s, I think. Terrence Stamp, Hugo Weaving and Guy Pearce.
Ah it was a classic! Also, I once helped Terrence Stamp at a grocery store I worked at. And he was an absolute delight.
