Trump pushes for his wall by saying Muslim prayer rugs litter the border

Some of the RW media must have been peddling this bullshit recently. I was taking the piss out of some moron spouting the same crap just a few days ago.
 
I watched a piece on this and the piece also said that 99% of HERION comes in from the Southern Border. :rolleyes:

What need would Muslim extremists need to cross the hot, dusty, uncomfortable southern border when slipping in from CAN is possible? And not difficult, from what I've read.
Or applying for tourist Visas and disappearing?
45 is once again creating drama and exaggerating incidents ... I hesitate to call them facts
Not all Muslims are a**es, nor are they dangerous. Any more than all Christians are hypocrites and bullies. Dangerous even in certain circumstances.
It is the Extreme on both ends that we should worry about. Terrorists come in white, just as they do the other colors.

A Border Patrol spokesman said that brown-skinned evildoers attempting to breach the walls of Fortress Murica routinely bring carpet scraps with them to put over the barbed wire at the top to avoid getting cut up. They then discard the rugs when they've gotten over.

Think about it...why would a Muslim carry a prayer rug all the way to the border just to abandon it at the fence?

Kudos to Trump to pivot this to anti-Muslim bigotry.

The questions I have are: since they are required to pray 5 times a day, do they carry multiple prayer rugs so they can just leave them willy nilly in the desert? And how much would a couple of dozen prayer rugs weigh? Or if the connotation is that many Muslims are crossing the border (resulting in many prayer rugs left in the desert) then there must be many who have been detained there. So why isn't that number being reported? Or is it total and utter manufactured bullshit? Occam's Razor?
