Do you think what you did was demonstrate relative risk? Really?
First of all you didn't in any way account for the sparse population along the border. Secondly you used States rather than cities, which would you give a little better idea where the hot spots are.
Third we're talking about a very specific risk the risk of interrupting illegal activity. There's a lot more illegal activity going on on the border than there are in other areas certainly relative to the population.
I guess they didn't teach you about analytical thought while you were getting your degree in rocket surgery malpractice defense.
