Many people oppose it because it is a waste of money and see it as nothing more than feeding his already BLOATED EGO. Studies have shown that illegal immigration from the southern border is actually DECREASING, as Mexico and many Latin American nations are deciding to focus on strengthening their economy.
Not so long ago, we had Irish and Italian immigrants clamoring to enter the United States, now immigration from those nations has greatly slowed down since there is no longer a pressing crisis in those two nations.
This evil and egotistic human being is playing with people's livelihoods.
What also makes many folks blistering angry is that this waste of money wall will be at the expense of cutting food stamps, which goes towards feeding hungry children. Children did not ask to enter this world.

Millions of Americans receiving food stamps could face having their Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) disrupted if the government shutdown—which entered its third week on Saturday—continues into February.
The partial government shutdown that began last month currently affects approximately one quarter of U.S. government departments, including the Department of Agriculture which supervises SNAP at the federal level.
The program has not been allocated funding from Congress past this month, and although Congress has set aside $3 billion as emergency funds, the amount isn’t enough to cover all recipients of food stamps throughout February. According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the cost of food stamps average $4.8 billion per month.

Aren’t there supposed to be people under the president whose function and priority is to make things happen? That’s what I mean by experts. They’d want to be yes men, am I right? If they were no men they wouldn’t be there.
I get the impression that President Trump isn’t a thinker, he’s more of a doer, and therefore requires a great team. And he SHOULD have the best. To help steer him in the right direction.
I don’t know. Perhaps (despite been shown another way) he doesn’t want to hear it. I know a few blokes like that. They don’t think, they just go all-in and push, push, push! And hope for the best. Results-driven. All they see is the pot of gold. Assholes LOL. They aren’t Presidents, though!
I shouldn’t laugh, but the guy just seems to be a terrible pick for America. Do you think he’ll be re-elected?

He's got people to make things happen. But they're not there to make things happen for the country; they're there to make things happen for Trump, during and post-Presidency. Trump did not become President because he wanted to help America - he did it to help himself, as he's done his entire career. But even an idiot like Trump knows being a President is a terrible business decision unless you can make the corruption work for you. He thinks he's savvy enough to pull that off...but that's what happens when you're surrounded by "yes" men: you think you're more invincible and intelligent than you are.
Republicans will see enough failure by 2020 as a result of standing behind him previously that I think it's very unlikely he gets re-elected. Too bad for them that they won't be able to wash the stink off from having supported him. It'll linger for decades.
