I am interested in people’s ideas/thoughts about connection of nature, spirituality and sex.
I have seen references to pagan cultures incorporating sexual rites into their religious rituals. I have heard vague references about Wiccan rituals involving sex.
I am interested in people's thoughts on the subject - either academic or personal.
As a child, I lived on a farm and would often go out into the woods and play in a creek. Both as a way to keep from soiling my clothes but also because I was a budding naturist, I would often strip. I loved it. It was sensual and somehow felt “right”.
Later as a teenager I would often go out, strip my clothes off and masturbate. I loved it. The whole thing seemed “bigger” than simply “wacking off“ in my bedroom.
Perhaps some of it was the simple excitement at being “in public”, but I am certain there was something more to it than that. Only as an adult have I recognized that there seemed to be something almost sacred about it.
As I am also quite interested in spirituality, I am curious if anyone has similar experiences. The idea of somehow mixing the three is very intriguing to me.
