I've read all the threads I want (or so the "New Posts" tells me), so I click to "Log Out" above. Pop-up asks if I'm sure, & I click "Yes".

Sends me to a page that still says, "Log Out ____ (My Name)", which I also click. Page comes back, still saying the same thing in the same place.

Is Forum a Roach Motel wherein I can't check out?!

Once you log out, purge your cache history. When you come back, you'll be logged out.

I don't know:

1] How to do that.

2] Why it took so long for someone to respond to me.

3] Why it wasn't someone on staff.

4] Why the site asks you twice (once at the top of the site & once near the "Contact Us" link at the bottom) if you want to logout (& asks you in a pop-up to confirm each time), & yet can't actually do it when you choose "Yes" each time.

You sure want a lot from a free site.

1. Somewhere in your browser there will be a button, "Delete browsing history," probably with a series of options. Every browser is different; I know how to purge my history, I have no clue how to do yours. Note, this is not a Lit thing, it's a "your computer" thing.

2. At least someone did, eventually. Be thankful for what you get, when it's offered free.

3. Because they're running a huge website running on ancient code, with tens of thousands of users and hundreds of thousands of stories, with not many people at all.

4. Because it's a huge website running on ancient code, much of which is broken.
