Trump rage tweets at Mueller after Manafort report released showing more connections to Russia

Paraphrased, "Bla bla bla, Witch Hunt, No colusion! poor me."

I am in the White House waiting for the Democrats to come on over and make a deal on Border Security. From what I hear, they are spending so much time on Presidential Harassment that they have little time left for things like stopping crime and our military!

Russian ex-spy put pressure on Manafort over debts owed to Kremlin-linked oligarch

McConnell ducking helping ‘unreliable’ Trump battle with Democrats over wall funding:

Bitter House Republicans preparing for multiple Trump investigations as they become the minority party: ‘You control nothing

Pouring salt into the wound’: Trump freezes pay of nearly 2 million federal workers during shutdown over his wall

With hundreds of thousands of federal employees currently furloughed or working without pay due to the ongoing government shutdown, President Donald Trump delivered another blow to struggling workers on Friday by signing an executive order that will freeze the pay of around two million public employees in 2019.

The president’s sudden concern for the budget deficit came just months after he signed into law $1.5 trillion in tax cuts, which have disproportionately flowed to wealthy Americans and large corporations.

“President Trump pushed through a tax scam that gave unprecedented handouts to billionaires and corporations—but believes it’s too expensive to pay hardworking federal workers a reasonable wage,” wrote Rep. Barbara Lee (D-Calif.) following Trump’s August announcement.

If he did as he threatened to "Drain the Swamp:, and froze the promotion of Generals until the Pentagon can pass an audit with out fuckery, and recover the $21 Trillion they can not account for, then he can have his fucking Wall.

Annoying as This?

Former US ambassador to Iraq slams Trump for angering Iraqis with visit and warns of what could happen next

President Donald Trump visited troops in a war zone for the first time on the day after Christmas, flying to Iraq for a short visit where he compromised the security of the operation with a selfie and delivered a widely panned political stump speech complete with his customary entrance and exit music from his campaigns.

Iraqi leadership was given almost no notice of the visit, for what the Trump team claimed were security reasons, and took the jaunt as an affront to their nation’s sovereignty. The Iraqi government may soon vote to expel American troops.

A good thing ISIS is kaput, eh?:)

Lumpy in the rough again!

FBI collected fake green cards that Trump’s managers gave to undocumented immigrants working at his golf club: report

https://www.rawstory.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/Trumpgolf-800x430.jpg

The employment documents of related to immigrants who worked illegally at President Donald Trump’s golf club in New Jersey have been gathered by the FBI and state investigators, reports the Washington Post.

The report is sourced to a Newark attorney who represents five undocumented immigrants that worked at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey.

Among the documents reviewed were fake green cards and Social Security numbers that the workers say supervisors at Trump’s golf club gave to a Guatemalan worker.

“The materials collected by law enforcement agencies, first reported by the New York Daily News, indicate that investigators may be launching a probe into the hiring practices of the president’s golf club,” the Post writes.

The FBI and state investigators did not comment.

Counterfeiting, at least and they can get off easy as long as they say "Lumpy made me do it":)

Another Conservative jumps ship!

Conservative NYT columnist who had claimed Trump was ‘tamed’ now admits things could ‘get very, very dark’

Ross Douthat has had quite a year.

In December, the conservative New York Times columnist infamously declared that America misses being ruled by WASPs, earning him near-universal derision.

But as Douthat looks back on the year, he chose to return to another poorly received column.

Douthat declines to guess and what comes next, so as to “save myself the embarrassment of future mea culpas” but argues that he’s not so much worried about “bad policy or sleaze or norm violations” as total and complete civilization-wrecking calamity.

If “the equivalent of 9/11 or the financial crisis” happens in the next year, Douthat writes, “things will get very, very dark before there’s even time to read the full text of the 25th Amendment.”

That's what worries Mitch too!

Trump’s fake green card golf course scam being investigated by FBI and not ICE stuns ex-US Attorney

Speaking with fill-in host, Margaret Radford, former prosecutor Guy Lews said that Trump may not be personally held responsible for his employees breaking federal law — but added that it was curious that the FBI was called in.

“What are the possibilities that the president actually knew about this? What are the legal implications if, in fact, he did?” Radford asked.

“I think it’s probably unlikely that the president himself actually knew about it, at least I’m not seeing any evidence that the president was involved in it or knew about it,” Lewis admitted. “However, that doesn’t mean that it’s not a problem for the president and, certainly, the golf course itself. It is a federal offense, you cannot hire illegal immigrants to work, it’s a federal law and we dealt with it all the time here in South Florida when I was U.S. Attorney.”

Is the FBI taking the lead because ICE is, 'biased" for Lumpy?

The stock market has cratered since the GOP’s massive corporate tax cut — and analysts blame Trump

Republicans’ massive tax reform bill — largely a giveaway to corporations and the super wealthy — was supposedly justified by a massive boom in the American economy that would make everyone, not just the most direct beneficiaries of the cut, richer.

It hasn’t happened.

“All the four major U.S. stock indexes declined at least 4.6% for the year through Friday — and they’re poised to all finish with negative annual returns for the first time since 2008. And the poor performance was broad-based: nine of the 11 sectors in the benchmark Standard & Poor’s 500 index are in the red for 2018,” explained Los Angeles Times reporter Jim Puzzanghera. “Just stuffing cash in the mattress, where its buying power eroded by the approximately 2% annual inflation rate, would have beaten the 7% loss incurred this year from a fund tied to the S&P 500.”

Puzzanghera noted several major factors currently spooking investors — the U.S.-China trade war, the administration’s “unforced errors,” the government shutdown, and coming fights with a divided Congress — that are all directly tied to President Donald Trump.

Trump pats self on back for paying Coast Guard after he shut down the government — then blames Democrats again

President Donald Trump gave himself an “attaboy” for paying the U.S. Coast Guard one more time after he shut down the government over his wall.

Then he blamed the Democrats again.

On Twitter, Trump wrote: “Great work by my Administration over the holidays to save Coast Guard pay during this #SchumerShutdown. No thanks to the Democrats who left town and are not concerned about the safety and security of Americans!’

Where did he get the money? Did he shift funds from his Golfing allowance?

High-ranking official admits no one will be at the wheel of the White House soon: ‘I don’t know who is going to be here

Los Angeles Times reporter Eli Stokols revealed one high-ranking White House official is concerned President Donald Trump won’t have any staff left by the end of January.

During an MSNBC discussion, Stokols noted the president is closing out 2018 in a “much weaker position” than he began the year.
SPONSORED

“You think of Kavanaugh being the biggest success for him in the past year,” Stokols said. “But the elections delivered the verdict in November and it was an obvious setback for Republicans. A referendum on this president at a very controversial administration. A lot of these policies. And Democrats picked up 40 seats in the House. And the president as a result of that is going to have to deal with a whole lot of investigations, not just into the Russia matters that we’ve heard about for two years but into personal financial issues in terms of decisions that he made or didn’t make. Relaxing of sanctions. The Khashoggi stuff.”

Democrats have already indicated that they intend to subpoena White House documents as well as personal documents from the president.

Sad the way Trump is disintegrating.

Trump is calling his right-wing friends to promise he won’t give up on the wall — after giving up on the wall

President Donald Trump is reportedly spending his government shutdown calling his right-wing pals to promise he won’t give up on the border wall.

The president initially had a budget deal until it was revealed the bills wouldn’t provide funding for the wall. The Senate passed the bill with a promise from Vice President Mike Pence that Trump would sign it. Senators left town for the holidays as the bill went to the House for their vote.

“Trump is repeatedly calling allies such as members of Congress and conservative radio hosts, telling them privately that he will not give in on his demand for funding for a border wall,” Haberman reported Sunday.

She also noted in her piece that the president campaigned on his keen ability to “cut deals,” but nine days later, he is struggling as his skills are put to the test.

Former Congressman Joe Walsh told Fox News in 2017 that Trump won’t get reelected without the wall. It has forced Trump between a wall and a hard place, as he struggles to make a deal while running on a campaign slogan of “Promises Kept.”

In a press statement Sunday, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) appeared to be leading Trump to capitulation by saying that the wall was nothing more than a metaphor.

Where in Ms Lindsey was pummelled by Tweet Storm! :D

'Less Hula, More Moola," Kellyanne Conway Falsely Says Government Is Shut Down Because Pelosi Went To Hawaii

White House counselor Kellyanne Conway on Sunday slammed incoming House Majority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) for taking a Christmas vacation in Hawaii, despite the fact that Congress is not in session, she's not yet the Speaker of the House and the government shutdown was instigated at Donald Trump's insistence.

Adam Schiff Warns Whittaker: Dems Watching Your Every Move

And Matt Whittaker has more than just Schiff to worry about. Here's former prosecutor Cynthia Alksne telling MSNBC's Morgan Radford that there are people inside the Department of Justice that are the likely source of the leaks about the recommendations on his recusal from the Mueller investigation. That's right: the career staff at the Justice Department do not appreciate his "loyalty" to the so-called president over the rule of law, and they are likely to leak any misbehavior on his part toot sweet:

Oh SNAP!

Yep, the wrong horse to bet on for Whitaker's personal survival is really, really big. One wonders how dumb he would be not to see it.

Trump Goes Wobbly on Threats

After a lengthy meeting with President Trump, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) announced this afternoon that Trump is now in a “pause situation” and reevaluating his decision to make an abrupt withdrawal from Syria. He is also open to offering incentives for wall funding.

Did Ms Lindsey "Talk some sense into that fool?"

‘All he has is failures’: New report reveals why Trump’s most hated aide is suddenly in the spotlight

He’s one of the few White House figures who can inspire even more revulsion than his boss, but in recent days, he’s been put out on the front lines.

So why is Stephen Miller suddenly taking center stage?
-
Despite his obvious flaws as a communicator, and his absolute inability to either show or elicit sympathy, when it comes to defending Trump’s outlandish immigration policy stances, Miller is all they’ve got.

“Miller is so awful on TV, it’s counterproductive to put him on,” one former official told Yahoo News.
-
“Nobody wants to defend Stephen’s positions, so they stick his ass out there,” a former member of Trump’s transition team told Yahoo News. “Stephen’s in the background telling everyone, ‘max pressure, max pressure,’ and saying those things are feasible. Everyone who’s actually worked in policy is like, that can’t work, go defend it yourself.”

Trump backtracks on Syria pullout while claiming he should be considered a military ‘hero

President Donald Trump appeared to backtrack Monday on shock plans for an immediate pullout of US troops from Syria, but said his drive to end American involvement in wars made him a “hero.”

The shift came a day after a senior Republican senator said Trump had promised to stay in Syria to finish the job of defeating the Islamic State group, also known as ISIS.

Ms Lindsey gets no mention? Ms L goes from "Sidekick" to that Senator who lunches.:D

"Individual #1" tries to claim Heroisim for holding out in the Oval Office as hordes of 'enemies' encircle the White House.:D

What the Trump administration doesn’t want you to know about this fancy bird

2018 may be coming to a close, but the federal government’s environmental hijinks are far from over. A recent investigation found that this past spring, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) deleted web pages containing information about the sage grouse, a species native to the American West and parts of Canada.

Compared to some of the other crazy climate shenanigans that the Trump administration has pulled in 2018, this kind of avian censorship seems like it wouldn’t ruffle too many feathers … until you consider the timing. The pages, which contained important info about the threatened bird species, disappeared right before the BLM opened up its new sage grouse proposal for public comment. Coincidence? I think not!

Always the Hero... To those who grift!

Here’s why 2018 made it clear that the left is winning

When Donald Trump was elected president in 2016, he and his followers clearly saw the election as Ronald Reagan redux. Reagan — who was made famous, like Trump, by Hollywood — ushered in a highly successful backlash to the gains made by feminists and civil rights activists over the previous couple of decades. Reagan didn’t just roll back progress through policy, but helped reinscribe sexist and racist attitudes in American culture, making it safer to be a bigot again.

Instead, as 2018 has made quite clear, Trump leads a movement of angry white people, an unpopular minority who are willing to cheat — or even betray our country to a hostile foreign power — to hang onto power, despite being rejected by the majority of the country. Whether or not that effort will succeed win remains to be seen. But when it comes to hearts and minds, we can end 2018 with this knowledge:

Trump is losing; we’re winning.
:D

‘Very unfair’: Trump whines about Senate not approving his ambassador picks in New Year’s Eve attack on Democrats

President Donald Trump closed out 2018 with a Twitter rant against Democrats for not approving his nominees to be ambassadors.

Specifically, Trump attacked the minority leader in the Senate, Democrat Chuck Schumer, despite the fact Republicans, led by Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY), control the chamber.

Trump Vineyards, for Fine Whines!:D

Which reminds me. I got a bottle of his wine at his vineyard over two years ago with the thought I'd use it for a special occasion, but everyone's turned down the opportunity to share in opening it since then. Maybe I'll open it tonight and just pour it out into the sink and laugh. Down the drain.
