Nah. There are six mountains within the area with a total vertical of 3,000'. Taking two lifts in the morning gets you to the upper mountain and it's then a simple matter of skiing down to the second lift by any number of trails and hopping on repeatedly. The biggest lift line I saw this morning had six people in it.

That'll make you hungry for the big cheeseburger and fries that's waiting at the lodge for lunch.

Thorough and exhaustive don't begin to describe this magnificent work by Scharnhorst. If you're interested in Twain, this is must reading.

This is not the usual hagiography. This is not the sanitized Samuel Clemens you're used to— a carefully managed image consciously created only after his marriage to a rich and respectable younger wife. This is Samuel Clemens with all the warts. He may have given his wife syphilis. He certainly was a plagiarist.

Scharnhorst is Distinguished Professor of English (emeritus) at the University of New Mexico.

I don't know why everything is getting on my nerves today, but I just have real strong opinions about everything. I've never in my life given a shit about Barbie and I've got like real strong convictions about her divorce.

I doubt Mattel will go through with the couple. In side scoop.;) Sales are down and they don’t want to shake things up. They are sticking with classics.
