Forget the investigations: Trump ruined his political future this morning on live TV

But it's no issue, no?

Mexico is paying for it!

Woof!

Two column accounting a bit much for you?

Doesn't matter how much money you take in if you can't get authorization for the expenditure.

Has the money come in?

Yap!

That would require some rather complicated accounting and you can't get the concept of debits and credits so I don't think I'll bother to discuss renegotiation of NAFTA the increase in just fees alone going to Mexico as our economy increases and pressure on us manufacturers to put more manufacturing here rather than Mexico.

The yipping of foreigners in about us politics always sounds a little tinny to my ear.

Try me.

Edit: While you're sharing that with the class, also explain how an increase in revenue resulting from domestic production equates to Mexico paying for anything. Like the scenario you've painted here is just, "this'll suck for Mexico for a lil bit" but nothing about them paying for anything.

Just as a point of interest did you read past the first line of your link and do you now know who Pierre-Joseph Proudhon is?

Woof!

Yes and yes.

But it's no issue, no?

Mexico is paying for it!

Woof!

It's only an issue if congress makes it one.

He put the ball in their court...question is will he force them to play or will he puss out and kowtow to the "progressive" open border agenda??

Has the money come in?

Woof!

Nah....but that's never stopped anything before.

I seriously doubt that you're even going to comprehend what this means much less the magnitude of the numbers involved. They're yuuuuge.

One small example.

Nothing about this makes anything suck for Mexico. Mexico prospers when we prosper.

Mexico just proposed spending billions of dollars over the next five years on development funds in Latin American countries to try to keep some of those migrants home.

And no, I have no interest in getting sidetracked from refutng Rory's original post maintaining that somehow or another Pelosi and Schumer "won" that meeting that they ran with their tails between their legs from

That's a pretty neat piece of arrogant dancing you're doing there.....except all of that falls far short of insisting that the wall would be paid not from the United States' budget but from Mexico’s!

"I would build a great wall, and nobody builds walls better than me, believe me, and I’ll build them very inexpensively. I will build a great great wall on our southern border and I’ll have Mexico pay for that wall."

Woof!

Woof!

As I said you would completely have apparently no idea how the countries compensate other countries for things. They don't write checks.

Except they do. When one country funds a project for another. Remember how WW2 got started because of that? Because Germany was forced to pay for reconstruction projects?

Or the numerous other examples throughout history.

Tell us how Mexico is gonna pay for the wall. Show us the finances that you claim to have. Go full accountant mode. I wanna see it. You know how interested I am in this shit.

Yes and yes.

Ok who is he?

Time will tell, I guess.

Do they really have a completely open boarder agenda? It’s never seemed that way to me when I came to the US, quite the reverse in fact.

Nah....but that's never stopped anything before.

And there you have it! The whole thing was bullshit politicking and playing to the crowd from the start.

Woof!

They don't.

How do you think the UK repaid the WW2 debt to the US?

How does the UK pay the EU?

Woof!

I really, really want Que to explain international public/private project concessions to us.

-no..

I love how he's like, "Private companies moving out of Mexico and into the US" is somehow Mexico paying for this dumbass wall that makes no fucking sense and no one actually wants.

That's what I thought, but it's nice to see you being honest about it.

Wait, aren't you also the one who didn't remember the Antartica treaty?

Jesus Christ, Q-dog, get your shit together.

I'm sorry that Schumer didn't dead-pan turn to the cameras and say it shouldn't be a problem as Trump pledged that Mexico was paying for everything. Then he could have just said what an idiotic idea replicating the Berlin Wall was.

Pelosi and Schumer do not think they cornered and embarrassed Trump. Quite the reverse.

They could not get away from the cameras fast enough.

Nancy Pelosi is so proud of her much winning she resorts to childish ad hominem:

“It’s like a manhood thing for him,” Pelosi told the Dems of Trump’s wall obsession, according to the source. “As if manhood could ever be associated with him.”

That certainly sounds like somebody who is quite confident that she cleverly cornered Trump and embarrassed him in that meeting.

She said that as she was running away from the cameras as fast as she could, huh? 🙊

Complete political ignorance on your part. What Trump did was agree and amplify to something that he was going to be pinned with regardless.

His options are to roll over and just let the Democrats have what they want. Why should he? Or go ahead and go for broke, and let them be on the record saying that despite the fact that they have every penny they could ever want for every social program they could ever dream of and the possibility of amnesty for DACA recipients on the table despite that being an illegal unconstitutional program from the previous president they still demand the right to continue to import Democrat voters.

Everybody who votes for Trump understands this and it doesn't really matter what you think does it?

Just like he always does, Rory is going to slink away from this thread when the poll numbers come out in a week or so showing the trumps popularity has increased. Nothing about this exchange hurts Trump with the people that matter to Trump. You really don't get it do you?

Because he promised dumbfucks like you that he was getting Mexico to pay for the fucking wall and you idiots believed him. Now, he's been told to put up or shut the fuck up.

Ok who is he?

The french political thinker who basically coined/defined/popularized the term as it's used today.

The Karl Marx of anarchism if you will.

Do I get a gold star now?? :)

Time will tell, I guess.

Not completely, but they absolutely want our southern border effectively left open.

From abolishing immigration and customs enforcement to promoting incentive's for illegal immigration and keeping borders unsecured/open. I'm not sure their intentions could be any more clear.

And there you have it! The whole thing was bullshit politicking and playing to the crowd from the start.

Woof!

Exactly like every POTUS since ever.

“If you like your plan, you can keep your plan,” -44

"To restore confidence in government, I will…attack pork-barrel spending."-43

I can go all the way back to Hoover...31....as tossing out total fucking bullshit to get elected.

There you have it indeed....politicians are full of shit on the campaign trail.
