Seem a bit quaint, now. A product of its time. Back then, it existed as music crafted and made by young people, for young people.

The lyrics continue as a universal tale, that still remains viable. Life is still busy, and love or companionship must compete for time.

OTOH, there very well might be a young person mining the source for something they may recycle.
