Just be patient, and be prepared for a lotta frogs. 'Clicking' with someone on here is just as random as in real life.
I always suggest thinking about the thing that you have in common with the people you're already close to - for me, it's liking particular sorts of music/bands/etc. So I know if someone is familiar with and into the same music as me, we have a better chance of getting on. For others, it might be a sports, or a type of literature, yadda yadda ... you get the idea. For me, anyway, lacking some commonality in the areas that mean I can easily 'chat' with a guy in the usual sense of the word means that anything else is going to not so much fun.

It actually helps to join in with threads outside the personals on topics that you're interested in - it's sort of easier to get a gauge of what people are 'like' if they're not trying to attract your attention specifically. I've met some really interesting people that way.

I am finding it a bit overwhelming at times...I wish I had more time to get to know people. Its difficult sometimes to share also....but just share what you're comfortable with. The good thing about this place is that its anonymous so sharing is easier.
