I just retook a random test I found online and I have predictably gone downhill because recall is part of it, and my speed reasoning is NOT what it used to be. Went downhill kind of a lot since I was ten. Dropped a good 20 points.
So somehow a decade and a half of life experience, education, new skills, and general expanding my intelligence has made me SIGNIFICANTLY dumber. This would be a huge thing if it were true- by 30 I'll be an invalid, which is basically what these tests have always shown.
So if that's not an inherit problem in the test and a reason to just throw it out on it's face, and is instead a liberal conspiracy to cover up the fact that all adults are just functionally inept and the Kids Next Door and Series of Unfortunate Events are actually documentaries, that would be HUGE and a reason to completely restructure our society.
Could just be that the test is bad. But it could be that you really do start going downhill after 18 and the world should be run completely by teenagers who are, according to Que, demonstrably, empirically, the most intelligent kind of humans.
So since this is real information that is being suppressed and not a bad test, convince me. Tell me all about this conspiracy that the liberals have put into place, presumably to combat the agism because I have to believe that conservatives, using these results, would want to put an age cap on every office at 18, when everyone is at peak intelligence and that's what the liberals were trying to prevent. Tell me how it started. Tell me to what ends the liberals were suppressing this information. Tell me what that would accomplish.
Tell me why I can take the same test and get scores that are TWENTY POINTS apart if it's so reliable. Tell me how deciphering alien languages makes you smart and doesn't mean that you just play a lot of SIMS. Tell me how taking apart number sequences makes you smart and doesn't just mean that you play a lot of Resident Evil. Tell me if you think the rise in video game popularity was part of this conspiracy or part of a rebellion against it.
Tell me why the fuck recall and response time matter, because that's a big part of the reason why old folks score so poorly- we can do it, but it takes us longer to do math in our heads.

Those word scrambles get me, man. You have to know all the countries and shit and they've like... legit changed since the last time I took them. I learned my countries from Animaniacs and they're different now. I've always sucked a little bit at geography and I bet that's what fucked me up.
