Matthew Whitaker is loyal to Donald Trump. That’s refreshing, not disqualifying.

The fact is Trump can appoint Whitaker as interim AG. He can serve under the law for 210 days before either being confirmed or another person is presented for confirmation. Democrats and the federal courts can't do shit about it.

An AG has a duty to be loyal to the law, not a president.

As should those who served under him.

Unfortunately, Comey, Wray, Ohr, and company, weren't. In their case(s), the narrative was that individuals could have political preferences but they were professionals who didn't allow their personal ideologies interfere with their work.

Yet, in Whittaker's case, the new narrative seems to be the opposite.

Ask yourself why that is.
