I really don't want to abandon a funny story setup. In historical (pre-Net) days, some local broadcasters featured a daily call-in Radio SwapMeet. Folks phoned to offer items to buy, sell, or trade. My MC runs a Holiday SwapMeet for folks to call in their XMas wishes: a puppy, or a motorcycle, or a Daddy, sure. He filters lots of sexual requests. But where to go from there?

* His hostile ex's XMas wish: that he be tied up and forced to watch all invited townsfolk fuck her. Is that NonCon or Voyeur or Group?

* Santa grants him the power to make all wishes come true. It's only a small power -- no aliens or talking reindeer are involved -- and he doesn't know of it till after XMas. Is that SciFi or MC or something else? If married women wish for lovers, is it LW?

* By passing-on phone numbers, he hooks-up compatible-sounding horny callers, doms to subs, same-sex as desired, kinks, etc. What category?

I am open to input.

Humor might be another option, though I understand it's not a great category for reads or ratings.

Just a random reader lurking around.

With ever aspect you choose to promote, there is yuge overlap between those categories as it is, and logically so, E&V being the most catch all (when I just come here I was quite annoyed by happy slave stories in E&V, for example, but pure voyeur is rather rare thing it seems). If watching is more important than action itself, or performing for the audience is the main action it's true at home in E&V, but any prominence paid for nudity on itself may qualify (even down to bedroom striptease for the spouse, but that's the bottom line that may trigger some of otherwise almost nonexistent category police there). If non-con has any prominence, that's probably a trump card. (Then, there probably is some public in non-con hostile to femdom.) If it's a pile of bodies, all grinding against each other at once, what's the most important part, then group is what it is. Otherwise you can as well do a coin flip (but obviously you will need a three-sided coin).

I just happened to read some coment where a guy capable to explore girl's mind, make her superhorny and even bring her off all by just looking really deep in her eyes was slammed as not being mind-control-ly enough. Well, some folks seems impossible to please. SciFy would likely involve either some techno babble explanation for whatever or reference to some geeky preexisting magic system even if all that is made up on the fly. LW? No fucking idea what's that. How about first time? ;)

Catering for the homofobes, any explicit m/m action will land you in that category I'm afraid. Other than that this is the hardest to call although I guess, erotic couplings can catch whatever. But according to statistics that has half the readers of E&V for twice the volume of submissions and probably expect stroke pieces, but I don't know a thing.

I try to answer this question by asking, what's the largest and most probable group of people who will find this erotic and why?

Idea no. 1 seems like group sex to me. It's not noncon because, although he's tied up, she isn't, and his being tied up isn't the erotic focus. It could be voyeur/exhibitionist, too.

Idea no. 2 depends upon the nature of the wish granted. Yes, if it's a wish by a wife to have a lover, it's LW.

Idea no. 3 is impossible to tell without knowing the specific hooking up that happens in the story. I assume that some specific hooking up incident does happen in the story. That will determine it.

Is this a multi-chapter story? There's enough material here that it sounds like it could be. You can have different categories for each chapter depending on the primary action.

Santa's offer reminds me of one of Terry Prachett's Disk World books (I forget which one) with the blacksmith that shoes Death's horse. Maybe you're already thinking along those same lines. If so, it's quite a conundrum for your DJ. Should be a fun read.

1 is a LW story.
2 depends entirely on what he chooses to do with that power. Need more input.
3 is non-sexual unless he somehow becomes a part of that network instead of just running it

Thanks to all. The voices in my head will likely tell me to break this out into multiple stories. Right now I tend toward:

#1 Exhibitionism. The townsfolk stage a sex show just for the victim MC.

#2 Group, probably. Callers express their wishes; MC says "Thank you," and unknowingly grants the wishes, which may include gangbangs but no burros.

#3 EC or LW, depending on whether the callers the matchmaking MC links-up are otherwise married.

I lean toward #2 with the current setup except yeah, it could go multi-chapter. Hmmm, those scenarios could be in successive years. First, #3 establishes the MC's helpful character. Then, #1 a year later is a wrongful punishment arranged by a mad ex. Then, #2 is Santa's reward for the MC. It's the Cinderella story arc -- rise, fall, then rise in fortune again.

That might work.

Hah! A hot flash! I set the intro in winter 1990. That puts the Santa's Wish-Granter year as 1992. If the Holiday SwapMeet runs from Hallowe'en to XMas Eve, then the USA 1992 election falls in that window -- and some caller wished Bill Clinton to win. Cue the cigar kinks.

You want a plot bunny with no limits. Some guy finds Santa's naughty girl book. (the 18 year old and up edition) :D Enjoy.

Good! Better yet, some sly elf has substituted a forged copy of the Bad Girl list, with names of almost-bad girls who can be turned quite naughty with the proper persuasion, and lists of their probable kinks. Now the book-finding guy knows just how to turn his victims. Cue the three-ways.

Gender flip: A saucy wench -- let's make her a domme -- gets the actual Bad Boys book, which also lists their kinks and corruptions. She knows just who to subjugate, and how.

For some Erotic Horror, a saucy succubus and her brother incubus get Santa's fat book of Nice Boys & Girls. Turning them evil will be great fun.

What does Santa do when he finds someone close to him has been leaking his files? Or did he do the leaking himself, to verify Naughty vs Nice statuses?

But no radio stations there, so not this story. Naughty & Nice listings... I'll see if the voices in my head lead me that way.
