Hello everyone. I just wanted to ask the community if there are any new historical stories out. Ones set in Ancient civilizations. By that I mean sword, sandal, tunic and loinclith time periods that may fit under categories like:

Reluctance
Erotic Couplings
Exhibitionist
Sci Fi
Celebrities & Fanfiction
Gay Male
Erotic Horror

If not, I would like to ask if ay authors are planning any new stories that fit the category. If you know either, pleaase let me know. Thank You

I'm roughly planning a set of A MATTER OF TIME sequels, where the clutzy time-machine inventor, who sought Eve but found and was raped by anthropoid Lucy and a Yeti, seeks Mother Mary but lands in bed with Cleopatra at asp time, and later hunts for Joan of Arc but finds Lucretia Borgia or/and Catherine d'Medici. More seriously, I'm sketching a plot set in Minoan Crete and Thera-Santorini, inspired by Poul Andersen's THE DANCER FROM ATLANTIS. Ah, those were the days! Nothing to do but fuck, fight, feast, and philosophize!

A keyword search shows that I have 139 GM stories with "historical" published here under the sr71plt account. I can't tell when the next historical treatment comes out (now under keithd) because I pull my Lit. submissions off an already-published list that's up to a year old since published to the marketplace, but there surely are historical treatments coming up. I do have a pen name that publishes longer historical treatments to the marketplace, a few of which get picked up and run here (e.g., "Homeward Bound," a parallel of Thomas Wolfe's Ashville https://www.literotica.com/s/homeward-bound-ch-01-1, and "The Handyman," taking a fictitious New England town from founding into the following century https://www.literotica.com/s/the-handyman-ch-01-prologue) the founding and There's also a longer, wide ranging in genre epic here of the settling of Colorado in the early twentieth century, Wolf Creek https://www.literotica.com/s/wolf-creek-ch-01. The pen name series has included everything from ancient China through the American colonial and Civil War periods, various European wars, Middle East history, even back to the beginning of time.

Manny and Claudia in "A Valentine's Day Mess" tell each other a series of stories, each a little farther back in time. In part 2 they start with stories about their parents, grandparents and great grandparents until they get back to 1932. In part 3 they jump back to a ranch in Central America circa 1800, and from there to Spain in the 1540's. The next story will take them back to Spain and the conflict between Christians and Muslims in the high middle ages.

The categories don't really fit into your list. Overall, it's an I/T story. In part 2, the first story is NonCon and the second is sibcest.

Relevant truisms:

* The past was a different world.
* There were no "good old days."
* Selective memory is wonderful.
* The winners write the histories.

Those leave the field open for counter- and alt-historicals -- and conspiracy theories, and aliens and shit while we're at it. Or we can peer around history's craggy corners. Let a bystander or servant tell what history missed. Or just flip genders and watch the fun.
