Just like the title suggests. If you out out a personal ad and only recieved a one word response, what would you want or get turned on by the most?
Mine would be: enchanted

My thematic answer following the thread would be "compelling" however there is a part of me that would be tickled if it was "spoon"

I found this "highly profound" question of yours quite amusing. But what "amused" me even more were the 11 positive responses you received; altogether different from my reply to your strange question:

When I receive a one-word response to a personal ad I write, the first thing I do is throw it in the waste basket. Because I find 1-word responses the biggest insult anyone can commit to someone who posted an ad with even a minimal amount of substance. When I put some thought into a personal ad, I expect that someone answering it will apply her brain as well to answering it. And writing one word instead is nothing but fucking laziness, perhaps combined with an assumption that women may do anything they want.

And I neither wish to converse with lazy people, nor with women, who think too much of themselves.

BTW, I have received several such so-called responses, and their favorite word was indeed "intriguing".

And that even though intriguing poses a much tougher spelling challenge than the two words you botched up in your 3-sentence question. But I overlook that; you are only 27 years old by now, so nobody would really expect you to have learned how to spell already.

I do believe you missed the point of the OP's exercise. No one really wants a one word response, but it was a fun exercise to see what word we might like...
I am reminded why I have considered putting your pretencious ass on iggy before. Might follow through this time.

I am sure you figured out by now, Gladiator, that I have never been out to win any popularity contest here.

If all you can do is spew negativity and unkindness, why partake in vocalizing on a thread where you think everyone is beneath you? This was not said with malice but with all sincerity. You've just come off as someone who is bitter. Please read over your comment and my response to you. I was not mean nor rude as you've come off to us who CHOOSE to partake in the activity of this thread.

You're nicer than me. He's an ass.

The ONLY reason I chose to partake in this thread was to show that his negativity won't stop anyone from playing along. Very eloquent BCC

Have you really received one word responses? I don’t think I ever have. Perhaps the quality of the response relates to the quality of the ad...

I tease, don’t bite my head off...

Also don’t be such a grumpy bum about the odd spelling mistake, a lot of us can only interact with lit on our phones, and clumsy fingers and autocorrect do mean the odd error creeps in...

On a serious note, maybe you should respond to the next one word response you get... sometimes it is less laziness and more nerves at not knowing how to approach the situation and what to say... you could well be missing out on some real gems who just need to be taken in hand, x
