Well when I start I’m normally fine. But when I begin to focus on my balls my dick will slowly get hard.

I’ve been worried about cutting myself but so far been pretty lucky because I tend to take it slow.

I also use a women’s razor and shaving cream which I think makes the shave better but it could just be a wrong assumption of mine.

Oh, well I only do the trim with a beard trimmer. it's got a guard, but balls are not easy to maneuver, so I've cut myself once in a while. You're probably safer doing a regular shave like you do.

I've been shaving my genitals for decades and I always get some sort of a "chubby" when doing so. Not necessarily a full erection but not completely flaccid either. The extra "stretch" on the skin of my dick always aids in ensuring that I get a "close shave".

I don't really think this is true. For the most part, I think the only real difference between "women's personal razors" and those intended for men is largely just the color of the hardware and packaging. Also, I think some of the razors purposely built for women's legs, genitals and the body are built with a greater, and safer, angle on the blades and protective features and guards which, while safer, shaves less close.

I have two kinds of razors hanging in my shower. One, Schick Extreme 3, is intended for shaving my body and the other, or my facial hair. That said, if I want the closest possible shave on my genitals at some point, and after shaving with the other razor, I do a final touch up with my facial razor which is a Gillette Sensor Mach 3.
