Remember, Barack was relatively unknown (where the hell did he come from, lol) and swept America off their feet. His 50 state plan was epic in helping him enter the WH. He was not born with a silver spoon sticking out of his mouth as with most presidents, and he made it happen.

We need someone who will re-invigorate the millennial population like he did. I think millennials are slowly waking up to see the disaster that is Orange Foolius' presidency. We are the ones that will inherit the future. This election was like a kick in the ass to motivate folks into seeing the importance of voting.

R's keep the house this year and lose it in 2020. They'll lose the Senate too unless they start actually doing something other than squabbling.

Pence won't run for POTUS. He doesn't have the charisma and he knows it.

I agree, Trump won't run again in 2020. The never ending sniping attacks on him and his family and friends are taking a heavy toll already, he won't extend the pain. Whoever emerges from the primary scrum will be a surprise candidate no one saw coming. I have no idea who that will be.

The Dem's will run Kennedy. Kennedy will lose to the surprise R candidate.

My choice would be Warren, but I strongly expect both Clinton and Sanders will run again, despite their advanced ages.

If they lose the midterms the only way I see a left victory in 2020 is if they FINALLY stop whining about 2016 and the collusion probe and NA heritage and start pushing an actual political platform and act like a party, not a bunch of foot stomping brats.

No idea who the left could run because except for Biden-who is saying he won't run-the only person I could take seriously is Kamala Harris....but I have a feeling they will find the biggest poster child for progressive lunacy and run with that...and lose just like they did with Hillary.

People....moderate/independent even some democrats can't stomach the liberal faction anymore. If its not curtailed they will never win.

That's who is driving the voters to the right. That's who the democrats need to get a damn handle on, their yahoo faction. The only way to do that is stop catering to them and giving them that narrative.

House is a definitely a possibility but not a lock, and the Senate is not bloody likely.

If Schumer decides to spend more time with his family and Pelosi crawls into a hole and dies, there’s a chance for 2020, but that really depends, in my opinion, on whether Trump can keep up the enthusiasm in Trump Country. And that may depend on what happens to Trump Country paychecks. McConnel and Ryan sure as shit ain’t helping him much.Trump’s intraparty approval rating is the highest of any President in history. He can only lose if GOP voters get complacent and DNC simultaneously inspires the millennials not to sit this one out.

The DNC is dead from the head up. If they run any POTUS candidate over 50 years old they’re gone.
