Love those well traveled girls! It is sad that a film that has received positive reviews could play to an empty theatre: At least there was no one to throw popcorn at them.

Laughing... now that would be a new experience for me: popcorn target.
I always choose daytime showings to avoid the crowds. Sunday afternoons, most people in New England are glued to football on TV.

It’s a shame I didn’t know, we could have had such fun in the flickering light.

An exhausting trip to take on your own, I would be happy to share the trip just for the sing-a-long, how are you with two part harmony?

Well, I’m doing it differently this time. No ten or twelve hour days, switching off drivers. I am taking my time and taking detours to explore. No more than 4-6 hours of driving each day, with reward destinations built in to my program. So far, so good. And if it gets bad, I’ll hunker down and stay someplace.

I’m great with humming harmony. My singing voice has suffered the past few years. I’m not going into detail on the physical afflictions, but they’ve noticeably affected singing ability. So be it. I still sing/hum Loudly in the car!

Don’t tell! Not supposed to share pics of the art at Storm King sculpture park. I’ve wanted to see Andy Goldsworthy’s wall since I saw it in a documentary on his work. It was well worth the wait. Now that I’ve found it, I plan to visit again.

I had a wonderful two hour walk, but photography was a challenge. Too bright, plus staff appearing out of nowhere on stealth golf carts, visitors whooshing past on bikes. I needed a lookout. But I got a few by the wall.

I went to the movies on a Sunday afternoon to see The Wife. The book was better, but Glenn Close was great. I was the Only one in the theater so I had to let the girls bathe in the light of the silver screen.

Don’t tell! Not supposed to share pics of the art at Storm King sculpture park. I’ve wanted to see Andy Goldsworthy’s wall since I saw it in a documentary on his work. It was well worth the wait. Now that I’ve found it, I plan to visit again.
