I've got this activity notice 9 times in the last two days for my most recently published story - in and out of drafts 9 times, dammit. And I bet there are about a hundred typos left.

What's your record?

I've edited one story three times in response to valuable user feedback (changing sentences, not fixing mistakes), but that's it.

Every one of my stories has a few dumb typos or editing mistakes, spotted a micro-second after submission, but not enough to warrant wasting Laurel's time with a go-around. Scrub your copy, get it right first time, is a fundamental part of writing, I reckon. But I don't think I've seen a book yet that has perfect copy.

I'm still sitting at zero. I just did one on another site, though. I put "Australian" in a descriptor that should have been "Austrian." I did correct that.

I corrected one that had a mistake on the formatting, italics or something. Then the readers accused me of copying myself so I could get back on the new list.

That convinced me to leave a formatting error in another story but it's tortured me ever since. That mistake is still out there. Flapping in the wind for eternity.

The age old joke - when you turn right at Germany, that's Austria, not Australia.

I've corrected a few(3) with glaring errors pointed out by readers.

Carson, an edit done correctly doesn't put the story back on the new list.
