I draw the line there. Dogs, yes. Cats, I guess if that's how you roll. But squirrel? No. Nobody is emotionally supported by a tree rat.

A woman was removed from a Frontier Airlines flight Tuesday night after the airline refused to let her fly with her emotional support squirrel.

The airline said the woman noted in her reservation for Flight 1612 from Orlando, Fla., to Cleveland that she would be boarding with an emotional support animal, FOX8 Cleveland reported.

But she never indicated the animal was a squirrel, the airline said, adding that rodents, including squirrels, are not allowed on its flights. Beginning Nov. 1, Frontier will allow only dogs and cats on its flights as emotional support animals.

The passenger was told of the airline policy and refused to leave the plane when asked. Orlando police were called and everyone was forced to deplane.

The woman was escorted off the plane.

Squirrels are dicks. The seagulls of rodents.

so I guess an emotional support skunk is out of the question. :(

People are out of control with these Emotional Support Animals. As we have seen some are taking it to the extreme, to cry foul and a money grab.

This choice of animal really? Squirrels are nasty at best, not to mention mean and can carry rabies.

These Jack Offs make it much more difficult for the real people who need the real Certified Emotional Support Animals.

Not to mention each one of these Jack Off that pushes the boundaries that we don't hear about that are allowed to fly daily make it more difficult to stop the craziness.

The airlines eliminated peanuts for fear of one allergic person being affected, and then they said, oh yeah, bring animals onboard, we're all about your mental health...

Oh. I thought this was going to be a thread about Bookishleigh's unfortunate mistake taking on an emotional support squirrel.

I had a client bring in her large tote sized purse a couple of weeks ago and sticking out of the top was a stuffed animal. I asked what it was...she said her emotional support otter.

:D

The GOVERNMENT made it a law that the airlines HAD to accept people with emotional support animals. It wasn't the airlines that allowed it in the first place.

It's called the American with Disabilities Act, or ADA for short.

If it was up to the airlines, NO animals would be allowed onboard as emotional support animals.

They've caused MORE trouble than they're worth to the employees and other passengers.

Unfortunately, we've become a world where everyone is self-centered and are completely inconsiderate of others.

So, the airlines did not sue on my behalf?

They just rolled over and took it in the ass?

The airlines HAD NO CHOICE, the government made them accept the EMS animals because of the ADA.

A person that had a EMS sued the airlines in court and won because of the ADA and it opened the flood gate for other people to "claim" that they needed an EMS, too.

However, in my experience probably over 70% of the people that "claim" that they need an EMS are just using that as an excuse so that they don't have to pay the fee to carry their animal onboard.

It is so widely abused that you can actually get an authorization online without ever having to prove that you actually DO need an EMS.

The employees hate this ruling more than the other passengers do but their hands are tied because of the ADA.

Can't win against the government once the ADA became law.

Was she serious, or was she lampooning the idea of support animals?

You can always fight the law.

We've been fighting the ACA and it is all but on life support.

She was serious. She also takes her American Girl dolls out for tea parties. This woman is late 50s.

Well, duh. It's not like you can invite GI Joe over for a tea party.

Damn things are expensive. I never even thought they're that cute. But damned if they don't all gotta have at least one.
What happened to Barbie? She finally run off with Stretch Armstrong or what?

How did she get on the plane in the first place? You'd think that she would have to present her "support animal" at the TSA screening or by the airline employees at the gate.

Otters are cool. When my kids were small they had a stuffed toy sea otter. I'd always tell them,"Otter says you otter go to bed now." They kinda groan (a lot) at it now.

Comshaw

TSA doesn't pay attention to 90% of what comes through unless you names pop for them to pull out of line and search. Then they get big balls.
