I'll try but unfortunately they grow a bit faster than trees.
The only effective way is spraying DDT over the whole forest but that's way worse
(and illegal, as it should be)

It is probably not safe to operate a chainsaw while watching you. I'd turn it off and pick up the binoculars instead.
