This is so damn true:

From the article:

Another Day, Another Unidentified Source

"The more time I spend covering politics, the more I’m convinced that a significant chunk of grassroots political activists aren’t really arguing about politics at all. These folks are actually grappling with personal psychological issues and projecting it onto the world of politics. Every problem they had with a parent is projected onto authority figures. Every religious person who ever scolded them or made them feel guilty becomes the embodiment of organized religion and demonstrates its menace. Because they’ve had a bad experience with a member of a minority group, that experience reveals something sinister about every member of that minority group. The cop who wrote them a ticket instead of giving them a warning demonstrates the danger and corruption of law enforcement, the boss who fired them for shoddy work exemplifies the inherent cruelty of the capitalist system, and every frustrating experience they had with an ex-girlfriend demonstrates some defect in all women.

This is why things get so personal with them so quickly. They cannot distinguish their worldview from themselves, and so if you contradict that worldview, they believe that you have attacked them personally. In their minds, expressing doubt about an accusation of sexual assault means you support rape; scoffing at the need for higher taxes means you’re greedy and want them to endure more financial difficulties; and as a Yale freshman puts it in The Atlantic article linked above, “You can’t devalue a woman’s right to choose and respect women.” Only 31 percent of women believe abortion should be legal in all circumstances — meaning, in the mindset of the student, 69 percent of women do not respect women."

RWs are in absolutely no position to complain about "projection." In that regard their houses are made of sugar, not even glass.

I agree, the grassroots movement called the Tea Party was made up of people projecting their issues, as described.

Truth is the left consists of psychologically ill people who strive to project the manifestations of their illness into the political and public arena where they demand we pay homage to their various pathologies.

"Liberalism is a mental illness," eh? It's the RWs who are pathologically detached from and even openly rejective of reality (reality being what you'll find in the MSM), in favor of "alternative facts," i.e., falsehoods; and, it is the RWs who are projecting their mean-minded xenophobic psychopathologies into the public sphere.

Proof of the world class robotic group think and self denial of the most intellectually challenged demographic in America.

That would be the intellects, if that is not too strong a word, under the MAGA hats.

The demographic under those hats are those who frustrated Hillary Clinton and elected a man twice as capable as she ever was. They and he kicked her tired ass in an all out battle she spent 897.7 million to lose; and he did it spending half as much. He had nobody on his side except those wearing those hats. He did it in spite of a massive Obama administration and mainstream media conspiracy to subvert and steal the election. In spite of all the money, power, and alleged superior intelligence on the left, Donald Trump and his demographic ran over you people like a lawn mower hitting a dog pile and he's been fertilizing America with your bullshit for almost two years since. They aren't tired of winning yet.

After the past two years, you cannot possibly believe Donald is anywhere near as capable as Hillary. It's all he can do to walk on two legs and employ a vague imitation of human speech. He is the most incompetent, the most ignorant, the most unqualified, and the most corrupt, dishonest and amoral president this country has ever had. He makes W look like a genius and Nixon look like a saint.

Read RightGuide in a Kevin Spacey voice. It's like the scene in the car at the end of Seven. Dude just ranting against the world.

I especially like the "kicked her ass" as if she didn't win the vote of the majority of the American people.

You really are a stupid son of a bitch. I'll give you that. You have to be brain dead to dismiss all he has done.

Vette believed Ken was a woman.

Such as what? A tax cut for the rich that nobody else needed? Pulling out of the Iran treaty and the Kyoto Protocol? Insulting our allies and flattering our enemies? Giving NAFTA a new name? Emboldening white nationalists and sexists? Defiling the dignity of the presidency? Enriching and reinforcing the power of the 0.1%? Letting the petroleum industry make environmental policy? Making our country an international laughingstock for the first time since before 1812? I'm not saying he hasn't done things, but he has not done any things he should have, he has not done anything good for the country. I see absolutely nothing here that can fairly be called the right thing to do, say or think.

1: Hey OP do you take constrictive criticism?
2: Did the admins delete that 'politics' board that was meant to prevent this very thing?

Questions 1 & 2 are related.

Edit: My dumb ass put a period instead of a question mark. Jesus Christ I have set the bar low.

Right wingers using home spun pseudo-psychoanalytics to define faults with "the left" never fails to entertain.

As with most things, the truth is probably lurking between the two extremes.

I see two things happening in a general sense:

1. Ignorance used to be bliss; now any ignoramous can pick up a global bullhorn and energize like-minded fools to join in.

2. The shift from a non secular to secular society has enabled the growth of unfiltered sectarianism to near-individual levels.

Because there are more alternatives and voices, it’s easier than ever to stump the masses.

This week’s episode: Frat House Judge. The guy most of us fucking hated in university, high school and middle school. A trifecta of fuckwaddery. Sure, supreme court judges are, by definition, freaks of nature. But they’re supposed to have enough integrity to tell the truth. Liars are weak and vulnerable; put them in high office at your own risk.

"Escape from Freedom" and what Protestantism gave or took from us. 70 years later, it's as contemporary as.
Yes yes, one could say that I sound like a pedantic fool, but it's just a matter of style.

Could you please say more on that?

Could you shut up and stop sexually assaulting women.

That's a 2 way street.

No, it's not just "the other side" .

The loony toons left (not liberals because they are right wing) has PLENTY of their own political psychosis going on, the denial of which is a prime demonstration of.

Such as what? A tax cut for the rich that nobody else needed?

Yup....thank you President Trump!!!

And nobody else pays taxes so everyone else can STFU. :D

Pulling out of the Iran treaty and the Kyoto Protocol? Insulting our allies and flattering our enemies?

Thank you Mr. President for getting us out of bad deals.

We don't have any allies.

Enriching and reinforcing the power of the 0.1%?

By not oppressing them yes.

Letting the petroleum industry make environmental policy?

BIDNIZ AS USUAL BUBBA!!!

Tump in this respect is different than the Obama presidency or the last 50-70 years of our regulatory agencies with revolving doors of corporate admin.

Like letting Monsanto run the USDA/EPA like they have for again since the inception of those regulatory agencies.

Making our country an international laughingstock for the first time since before 1812?

Everyone (especially Europeans) have been talking shit, looking down their nose at us and begging for help when they fail to manage their own back yard bullshit for well over 30 years.

Again, this isn't Trump, this is the standard and why we need to give European authority the finger....let them sit in their snobbery for a while and stew in the reality of having to defend/police their own shit.

I'm not saying he hasn't done things, but he has not done any things he should have, he has not done anything good for the country. I see absolutely nothing here that can fairly be called the right thing to do, say or think.

You also appear to think turning the US into an open border welfare state that's submitted it's authority to a world government is "good".

I especially like the "majority of the American people" as if that has anything to do with kicking ass in a presidential election.
