Breaking with its policy of not endorsing or opposing a judicial appointments, on 29 September the American Civil Liberties Union officially opposed the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.

No surprise that the American Criminal Liberties Union would oppose Kavanaugh, they are extremely left wing and out of touch.

Are they just suddenly extremely left wing and out of touch, or are you just rationalizing to suit your agenda? Did you miss that this is the first time they've ever taken a position? Is Gorsuch not ultraconservative? Have there been no other ultraconservative nominees ever? Why do you suppose that Kavanaugh is the very first one they've taken a position on?

Or, in spite of the article, do you just want to pretend they always oppose anyone who isn't extremely left wing and that they've officially endorsed some extremely left wing in the past?
