Does anyone use this in the genital area? If so, what brand?

Years ago I used some made by Yves Rocher. Wonderful stuff. No unpleasant odor. Removed hair quickly and easily. Never got a rash from it except for one time when I was in a hurry and didn't get it fully rinsed off. Only needed to use it every 7-10 days. Alas, they no longer make the stuff.

More recently I tried Eveline Just Epil. Although the aroma is nice, it applies easily (contains applicator) like the Yves Rocher and doesn't cause a rash, it also doesn't seem to fully remove all of the hair and the hair seems to grow back rapidly.

I then tried Nair. I know... I know... I had tried it before and got a rash in that area. I can use it on my legs. Just not the genital area. It has no applicator, doesn't smell very good and caused a blistering rash that took about two weeks to clear up, so rather defeated the purpose.

So... Is there anything better? Thanks!

I know people who've gotten on well with Nair. It depends on your body and your skin whether it works for you or gives you the mother of all genital rashes. If you have the time and energy pick up a whole different bunch and experiment to find what suits you best. What works for someone else might not be great for you.

Nope. Tried that. Made a huge mess. Didn't work. Was picking wax balls off of my crotch for days. Plus, the pain!

Years ago I did use an Epilady. Yes down there. Pain beyond pain! Did leave the area nicely smooth for a long time but I couldn't take the pain.

I do know that. I also know that I get weird allergic reactions to things. I can't even use Tea Tree Oil. Insta-rash.

The ultimate, if it fits in your budget and you are sure you want the same "hair Style" down there is to get laser treatments. Once done you won't need to worry about trimming or being furry ever again. I had this several years ago. I had to have a few touchups because it is near impossible for the doctor or assistant to get every single follicle in one shot.

Every once in a while I find a hair, but it is usually only one or two individual hairs that can be plucked. Other than that I have no hair from the waist down. Always smooth and soft and no rashes.

Holy shit, you are hardcore! I've had laser done in some not very sensitive areas and couldn't imagine what it'd be like getting your crotch zapped.

My laser lady said 6 treatments, one each month, is pretty standard to get absolutely everything in an area.

I shave down there, so I definitely know the limitations and drawbacks of shaving that would make a person turn to lasers, waxes, and Nair.

I’ll volunteer to come over and shave you. I’ve actually become quite good at it :)

Nope. Hate shaving. Hate the stubble and the itching that comes with it. With depilatory, there is no itching and the hair grows back nice and soft.

Too rich for my blood. But nice thought.
