As I said you don't have to have served to know the difference between the military and the rest of the country. At least you properly signed you post.

I wonder what Avenatti will bring to the fore.

Especially considering they're set on having the vote the very next day after the hearing.

Now, that the truth about Kavan-nah is slowly getting revealed-

It makes sense that Kavan-nah was chosen to interrogate, concerning the sexual interactions of Bill Clinton and young Monica. It was a love affair, in the eyes of young Monica.

Was Kavan-nah tasked to extract such excruciating details ? He was cruel, and humiliated Monica Lewinsky. Not surprising, now, that how we have read about how he treated young women, in the past.

SEPTEMBER 24, 2018

Twenty years ago, Kavanaugh, then an associate counsel in the office of independent counsel Kenneth W. Starr, submitted a sanctimonious memo that proposed a series of salacious queries for then-President Clinton about his affair with Monica Lewinsky. Noting that he was “strongly opposed” to giving Clinton any “break” in the questioning, Kavanaugh wrote, “He should be forced to account” for all that he did, “and to defend his actions.” He then suggested 10 questions, including this one: “If Monica Lewinsky says that you inserted a cigar into her vagina while you were in the Oval Office area, would she be lying?”

When Clinton was in the White House, the Republican search for truth knew no limits. In his 1998 memo, Kavanaugh cast it as a matter of patriotism to make the president’s “pattern of revolting behavior clear — piece by painful piece.” If that course weren’t followed, he asked: “Aren’t we failing to fulfill our duty to the American people if we willingly ‘conspire’ with the president in an effort to conceal the true nature of his acts?”

Kavanaugh's hypocritical memo

(But, it was O.K. for Republicans to celebrate their victories by re-enacting the lurid scenes described at the trial ? Were Republicans fucking their mistresses, or renting prostitutes ? Some Republicans were sexually exploiting WH interns. Did Newt Gingrich fuck his mistress on the desk, in his office, while the Kavan-nah tormented Bill and Monica ?)

Kavanaugh’s memo evinces not a political view or political expediency but the furious intolerance of an inquisitor. His zeal to topple a president by revealing and criminalizing his deeply humiliating — and, yes, abhorrent — personal life is not easily forgivable and not at all forgettable. He and his colleagues went after Clinton’s lover as if she were an atomic spy. In the process, they virtually arrested a young woman on the solemn charge of being a young woman. Kavanaugh did this. He has to account for it.

I don't know, but the Orange Turd has scheduled his first solo press conference in over a year for Wednesday night--clearly to compete with Avenatti.

I wonder what Avenatti will bring to the fore.

Especially considering they're set on having the vote the very next day after the hearing.

It would be interesting if Avenatti's client turned out to be Renata Schroeder, who was the subject of "Renata Aluminus" hints that appeared on 14 personal pages, including Kavanaugh's, in Kavanaugh's senior-year Georgetown Prep yearbook. She had signed the 65-women support letter but went ballistic when she only now found out she was mentioned on a bunch of guy's pages in that yearbook. It would be interesting if she wanted to talk about why her name was mentioned by Kavanaugh and others. Avenatti's email on his client to Grassley's committee suggests questions be asked of Kavanaugh of gang rapes and participating in sex trains.

I don't think so. Renate sounds like she had no clue about what was going on with Brett and Mark Judge and their gang.

It could be Mark Judge's ex-girlfriend, or she could be one of the witnesses. She came out and said it was making her sick to see him lie so much.

I do think it will be big whoever it is. Avenatti wouldn't have acted so mysterious and confidant if he didn't have the goods.

That would be a far more interesting option.

Oddly, these men seem to think they live in a bubble.

I just can't understand that Kavanaugh couldn't have known someone would look at his prep school yearbook, which should be enough to deep six his appointment all on its own.

I keep going, for comparison, to a classmate, and neighbor of mine at the time, who has been on lists as a Supreme Court justice candidate before, is conservative, is a Republican, is a judge on the 4th Circuit of Appeals Court, and who has lived a squeaky-clean life forever and wondering why it has to be someone like Kavanaugh rather than J. Harvie Wilkinson. Why does Trump have to pick someone like himself--and why do the Republicans in Congress let him do it and than be the clowns about confirmation that they are being?

All I can think of is that this is in the list of instructions the Russians have given their chief asset in the United States.

On Renata Shroeder, I would think she would have had a clue what went on in the high school years if she had been the punch for 14 guys at Georgetown Prep. She just didn't know they'd brag about it in print. She probably thought no men could be that stupid. But she was wrong; they can be.
