None of the rape enablers in this thread (Spearechucker, Rightguide, and Que) have ever served in the military (at least they claimed to not have served), so they wouldn't understand how America holds its leaders to higher standards.

Officers in the military need not be "convicted" of a crime to be denied promotion, there need only be the appearance of impropriety. A Colonel being filmed by a hotel camera coming out of an enlisted woman's hotel room at 5 a.m. will likely not lead to any criminal charges, but it IS enough to keep him from being promoted to General rank.

Rapey McRaperson is being considered for promotion the the "General Officer" level of the Federal judiciary, the Supreme Court. His conduct through prep school, college, law school, and clerking for Pervert Kozinski is being examined in great detail for the first time.....and so far, his character has been found lacking.

2. Politics. Whether they believe or care about the above or not, both Dems and Reps are also locked in a battle over that seat, and political chess playing.

I want to shift the focus away from 1 to 2.


Given what's at stake (something abouut Republicans quite likely losing that seat if things get stalled until november?)
why don't Republicans just nominate someone else, until investigations clear (or not) Kavanaugh's name?
