Kreepy Kavanaugh

Distract, deflect. Whataboutism. Broken record irrelevance.

What's funny here is that I directly answered you on that two days ago (post #371), and you had no response to give.

You think anyone is upset anymore by your racism?

you answered that AFTER an investigation

and I responded to your weasel answer

I answered that directly when you directly asked it and you couldn't take the answer. The only weasel here is you--and you've been constantly banned. The owners of this Web site don't want you here. Get the message.

Interesting.
A former schoolmate of Christine Ford wrote on Facebook that "The incident did happen, many of us heard about it in the school."
When contacted by NPR, she said: "That it happened or not, I have no idea".

Ambiguous phrasing aside --
My take on it is that Christine Ford Did tell her classmates at the time (30 years ago) that Kavanaugh tried to assault her.
Whether she distorted the facts at the time, is a different story. But it debunks the theory that her current revelations were just politically motivated.

But Democrats seem to be just as bad, if not worse: I read about how they threatened and isolated one of their own, for making similar accusations against Keith Ellison's.

how do you know?

Hmmm: Only 5% of MN Democrats “believe the woman” when it comes to Ellison; How can THAT be??????????/

“Hard to see how Ellison can continue to say nothing,” says CNN

Distract. Deflect. Whataboutism. Obviously worried about the actual issue.

Three people who have spoke to Whelan and Federalist Society’s Leonard Leo in recent days say they are “100 percent confident” they’ve obtained information that will exonerate Kavanaugh -

(link)

— Eliana Johnson (@elianayjohnson) September 20,

A staffer for Utah Sen. Orrin Hatch, one of the senior Republicans on the Judiciary Committee, which is vetting Kavanaugh’s nomination, posted the following:

Matt Whitlock tweet-Keep eye on Whelan tweets

(Speculation about a different house, and a similar assault)

On Thursday night Whelan released his exoneration material, (.......)
Here’s an example of Whelan’s work:

A tweet about the alleged floor plan of Kavanaugh's classmate's house having a bathroom near a bedroom as Ford described in her account of the alleged assault.
A bedroom and a bathroom on the same floor of the same house? What are the odds???

Incredibly, Whelan—who is a lawyer!—went on to name and post a photo of the random Kavanaugh classmate who he’d just insinuated to have been the perpetrator of a sexual assault.

Whelan’s tweets were at the least recklessly accusatory in the layperson’s sense of the term, and Republicans began backing away from him immediately. Here’s Orrin Hatch’s staffer:

Deleted this earlier (from yesterday) because I didn’t want to promote a thread that dragged an unrelated private citizen into this unfortunate situation

I had no idea what Ed was planning (we’ve never spoken) beyond what he had tweeted about having info exonerating Kavanaugh. pic****itter.com/r453gdPmfo

— Matt Whitlock 🇺🇸 (@mattdizwhitlock) September 21, 2018

Here’s spokesman for the Republican-run Judiciary Committee, many of whose members have worked with Whelan in the past:

To reporters asking: The Senate Judiciary Committee had no knowledge or involvement. https:/*******MBmqrwMyp5

— Garrett Ventry (@GarrettVentry) September 20, 2018
The Washington Post reported that “White House officials” likewise “sought to distance themselves from Whelan’s claims and said they were not aware of his plans to identify the former classmate.” By Friday morning, Whelan himself had deleted his thread and apologized:

I made an appalling and inexcusable mistake of judgment in posting the tweet thread in a way that identified Kavanaugh's Georgetown Prep classmate. I take full responsibility for that mistake, and I deeply apologize for it. I realize that does not undo the mistake.

— Ed Whelan (@EdWhelanEPPC) September 21, 2018
Whelan has further asserted that he didn’t coordinate his work with White House counsel (and judicial nominations guru) Don McGahn or Kavanaugh himself:

"I have not communicated at all with Don McGahn or anyone at the White House, or Judge Kavanaugh, about the topic of the Twitter thread," @EdWhelanEPPC tells me just now, in a brief phone interview.

Whelan declined to answer further questions.

— Robert Costa (@costareports) September 21, 2018
This raises a big question, though: How, then, did Whelan come up with the idea to look up the plans for a house that Kavanaugh’s classmate lived decades, ago.

Most everyone Kavanaugh went to high school with, obviously, lived in a house that had a bedroom and a bathroom, and many of them probably vaguely resembled Kavanaugh.

The Times’ Maggie Haberman, incidentally, says Kavanaugh “allies” have been floating a mistaken-identity theory “for days”:

Deleting tweets of my own that included his thread for that reason. This is something Kavanaugh allies had privately said could be the case for days but doing it this way, as an apparent reaction to Ford likely testifying, suggests a level of panic. https:/*******zRt2fELDaU

— Maggie Haberman (@maggieNYT) September 20, 2018
Haberman doesn’t say, however, that these allies were circulating the name of the specific classmate that Whelan outed.

So, who tipped off Ed Whelan ?

Hey Queerbait, since you had Aspbergers so bad did your mother not even try to teach you that "two wrongs don't make a right?"

How about that DonaldGrabEmbythePussy Trump? :D
That's different.

Treating women who bat their eyelashes at you (or you think they do) like trash, can be described at most as misogynistic and has nothing to do with rape attempt.

Where exactly did he say (in that locker room-type of bravado talk) that he tried to force himself onto them, once they told him to cut it off?

I axed you a question, HO

How do YOU know the SKANK HO told fellow students?

My point was, StainMan:

It's not the Ellison or Kavanaugh's accusers that I'm focusing on (although to me both seem genuine)

But on how both massmedia and top Democrats and Republicans are trying to misuse and politicise the issues.

Like bellisarius said before: once they no longer need those women, regardless of the outcome of the investigations, they will just toss them to the trash pile of history.
Politics are ugly.

You are not focusing on Ellison but you were the one that brought him up in the first place. Got it.

This is not a legal issue. This IS a political issue, whether you choose to acknowledge this or not. This issue at hand is Kavanaugh's fitness for a lifetime post. He is getting scrutiny at this level that he has not encountered before. He appears to be a deeply morally defective person who has skated through life on his slavish devotion to the Republican party. He does not seem morally qualified to serve on the highest court of the land.

And quoting the misogynist bigot NotIshmael as an authority on anything makes you look foolish.

Mine is only a subjective opinion/ speculation, of course.
Such things only get clarified after months of investigations. Meanwhile, Kavanaugh needs to step away from that post until (and if) he's cleared.

Dunno, my intuition tells me that Christine Ford is telling the truth. Unlike the 'grabbed by the pussy' accusers.
And the fact that one of her former classmates wrote on FB that Christine had told them at the time about the alleged incident, makes me even more convinced.
