Or maybe he's afraid they may stumble over some corroboration in the process. "What happens at Georgetown Prep stays at Georgetown Prep" unless it requires you to lie to a federal agent.

He has not personally objected: the republican members of the judiciary committee and Trump are stonewalling for him so he doesn't have to. He could agree to the need for an investigation, but he hasn't done that either.

This is sort of the flip side of what Rightguard is trying to do here. If Kavanaugh hasn't personally objected, it can't be assumed that he does object. What I've heard several times on CNN today is that he's in the White House doing murder boards on exactly that--testifying to the assault charge. It's sort of the same thing as claiming that any poster supports Ellison by not condemning Ellison on a thread about Kavanaugh.

Let's wait to say he objects to testifying when he actually does.
