He spent a lot of money to remain ignorant.
The last-minute emergence of the hitherto anonymous accuser of a 35-year-ago teenage episode is hilarious.
It's a classic case of desperation (and, quite possibly, flat-out fabrication).
Ole Johnny's Two Cents:
1. I don't care about 35 year old allegations from his teen years. He's been nominated many times over the years for various positions and the FBI did background checks. This never came up before and that it's come up now calls into question the veracity of the claim. Even if true... so what? It was a long time ago.
2. He his qualified for the job. The President gets to appoint Justices. That's a perq of winning the office. If HRC had won, she would have nominated someone the Republicans found equally repugnant. It wouldn't matter who DJT nominated, he could have nominated BHO and the Dems would still be squealing like a pig. The shoe will be on the other foot in two years and this will play out all over again but with the sides flipped.
3. Most people (myself included) don't really give a rat's ass about the Supreme Court. Except Vette who would have us believe he's actually ready any of Thomas' opinions. I interact with dozens of people a day, 100s over the course of a week. I'd be willing to bet that not a single one of them can name more than three of the nine(now eight) justices.
I called Kavanaugh for a perv the minute he was nominated. You can just tell looking at him. Something is seriously wrong with the Stay-Puff Man.

This is a perfect example of amazingly sleazy behavior. It's why nobody in their right mind wants to have anything to do with politicians and the scumballs who pursue political careers. It's why normal people despise Washington, D.C. and its inhabitants.
The place is full of gutter-dwelling slimeballs.
It's one among many reasons to keep government as small as practically possible. Big government inevitably guarantees power struggles between and among slimeballs who want power over thee and me.
While his friend watched, she said, Kavanaugh pinned her to a bed on her back and groped her over her clothes, grinding his body against hers and clumsily attempting to pull off her one-piece bathing suit and the clothing she wore over it. When she tried to scream, she said, he put his hand over her mouth.
“I thought he might inadvertently kill me,” said Ford, now a 51-year-old research psychologist in northern California. “He was trying to attack me and remove my clothing.”

My faith in Johnny's common sense and good judgment is, once again, confirmed.
Are you outraged that I don't really care about the Supreme Court; or, are you disputing my opinion that most people don't care either
You see, I live in a world where daily concerns involve paying the power bill, paying the rent, paying for food... The goings on in Washington DC seemingly affect your peer group more than mine.

I just read a headline:
You Can’t Walk Back a Categorical Denial
And I agree, so if he’s even lying a little, he’s toast.
How can be prove he didn't do this? He can't, and Feinstein knows it.
I have no idea what you are talking about. But I'm willing to bet that you have people in your peer group that can't name three current justices either. I would also bet you don't talk down to them like you are to me.
He denied the entire encounter.

Unfortunately, he's on record as lying in testimony in his last court confirmation hearing. So, the objective will have to discount any denial now. That's on him.
