The camera work is vital. As with most erotica, the viewer has to have that 'willing suspension of disbelief' that is essential to good fiction, pictures, movies, etc. For me, I need to be so taken with the scene that the thought of '"oh yes there is a camera and a photographer involved" never enters my mind.

Finally time to answer!
For me, the pics that draw my attention to the act rather than the participants are the ones I like and I feel like fit more firmly into the "worship" category.
If I'm thinking "Nice, makeup!" as opposed to "I wish that was me!", that feels more like manufactured, generic porn.
