I don't think there is anything wrong with a woman knowing that she is beautiful. Women are inundated and pressured to feel 'unattractive' in western society, so a woman who knows that she has it going on is a plus. That's not necessarily being a 'jerk'. Low self-esteem or self-image is not becoming.
