One of the dumbest statemens about my apearance I have ever heard in my life. Not only am I clearly black, I am not light skinned nor have I every been considered light skinned. The minute I walk in any room everyone knows I am black. There is no uncertainty about my race. Ever.

Why should they move? They are citizens of this country, their ancestors helped build it, and they have every damn right to protest. That's what this nation is about, protesting injustice. Would you have told MLK to just MOVE and remove his leather loafers?

Where are these players after the game or during the off season? Why aren't they out trying to improve the situation that they are protesting during the anthem? Is it just a, "look at me, I am kneeling to cause a division during the anthem but now that it's over, I have a great life that this country affords me to get back to." Personally, I don't care if a player takes a knee or not, I think they are showing their ignorance by doing so especially if they don't take the cause further. Also, why are they protesting the anthem when this country has given them so much?

Again, proving your ignorance on what they are protesting. They are protesting the injustices of the justice system, mainly police brutality. Too often police are not punished for gunning down or abusing innocent victims of color.They used the National Anthem at a sporting event as a means to have MORE people see their form of protest and to send a message, thus, exercising their 1st amendment rights.

At issue is a person's right to peacefully protest in a form that includes non-participation in civic rituals. The particulars of this just are what they are.

If you wont to protest injustice then do it in a private setting.

This is closely related to you and others continually saying there's no evidence of Trump's treasonous connection/subservience to the Russians as well as several other lines of his venality. You can't/won't analyze what's in front of your faces because it doesn't suit your agendas.

So, your are obviously fine with someone like Rob using quotes around sentences indicating that someone else made an outrageous or racist remark when they didn't.

As for your suggestion that there is some "tresonous connection/subservience" when there has yet to be any evidence proving such, you obviously are suffering from TDS. You should have that looked at.

The players who are kneeling are doing it for nothing else than politics. They hate the president. I am a war vet myself and it disturbs me that players show disrespect for the flag, vets and this country and after the games and off season they take their millions and go home and do nothing.

I wish would could end the skin color hate game, but it is a bitter reality in America. When folks on the darker end of the color spectrum stop getting racially profiled, discriminated in employment, and penalized unfairly in the justice system, then we can overcome.
